Nefarian and Onyxia HEAD BUFF

Please , why those NPC have cd on buffs?
i hate world buffs , in this points retail is so much better, flask prepot and rune , gg

onyxia 6 hours , nef 6 hours cd , dafuq man , this is so stupid , and sometimes bug.

CHANGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE , NO CD ON BUFFS PLS

It would also help to alleviate the insane lag in cities at raid time, because all raids are waiting for that one buff.

Sometimes , ppl troll pop the head , and no respect the time.

the only way to reset is one horde priest MC the npc and we kill the npc

As they both give the same buff the actual cool down is practically only 3hours.

yes but sometimes the npc dosnt give buff , bugged .

honestly this buff make me sick
, everyweek everyweek

Lets make a deal.
You vote my barbershop post up for blizzard to see, and i vote this one up

What annoys me more is the “attitude” or general consent that it’s ok for bigger guilds to dictate when someone can or cannot drop the head(s); which denies the buff for other guilds that might start their raids much earlier, which is a breach of the EULA.

Small or big, all guilds have equal rights to have the buff for their progression runs.

Yes, if your not handing it in for buff for progression purposes, it has little value to offer. There’s a big difference in “need to have” and “nice to have”; most cases fall in the latter.

Blizzard don’t care much if at all about the EU forums.

If this is the only problem you have, then everything is fine.

It’s not a breach of the EULA since there’s nothing stopping you from popping head when you want

It’s more like a social issue, where it can become a thing for a guild to try and blacklist another just because the head was popped at a time not agreed upon by the coalition on the realm’s discord or something like that.

That’s probably what that Driu meant by “dictating”. As in telling others what to do, instead of coming to a mutual agreement or accepting it if an agreement can’t be reached.

I’m not even sure how the other guilds can retaliate to begin with. At worst, they’ll blacklist the “pariah” guild in terms of enchants/rare recipes, but that’s about it.

Well, there’s a lot more one can do. If the coalition is big enough, one can even quite effectively “freeze out” a guild from any kind of pug content, including 5-man.
It’s basically schoolyard bullying of an outsider for breaking the perceived social norm of the “popular group”.

Assuming we’re talking about a consolidated raiding guild, that’s not rly a big threat IMO. I for one rarely step into dungeons anymore with my main outside of guild runs.

Well, alts are a thing for many, so they’d be punished for wearing the same guild tag, and afaik many guilds struggle to maintain the same players for an extended period of time to raid with.
So if there’s the need to keep recruiting new people, then this would be heavily affected by such a blacklisting.

You’d still have to weigh this vs the inability to use Rallying Cry, Hakkar buff, and possibly Warchief buff.

Though admittedly, if your guild DOES have alts, you can collect the wbuff whenever and log off.

I do wonder, what’s the point of these buffs? Yes, they are powerful, but it’s a pain to obtain them and they don’t persist after death. Must suck to wait hours to get them only to lose them in the first wipe.

It’s a storm in a teacup

A handful of tryhards trying to dictate when a guild can or can’t hand in their head

If they want to have a realm discord to make comments about those who disregard their wishes it’s only really themselves who are reading it - the grownups who come to Classic for fun really don’t care

And it is a fairly useless buff unless you have raids on seamless farm - in which case you will always be in a position to collect your own buffs

It’s a ridiculous and reasonably new ‘thing’ that will die a death all by itself

You made me buy the collected works of HP Lovecraft.

The Band or the Author?

The band are absolutely superb - out there somewhere

The books are good also
