Mages counterspells are really ***** ridicoluse 10 sec silences after they cast it and on top of that they do tones of damge… not even fun to play this game when the classes arent even balanced… Spriest got 5 sek silences… and a “fear” that’s break every time…

Classes in Classic/Vanila are not balanced for 1v1, or any one particular facet of the game, for that matter.
Game design follows a more old-school rock-paper-scissors RPG design, expect some classes or skills to hardcounter others pretty badly.

This is a remaking of the original vanilla game and that includes all spell effects(except for warlocks because blizzard hates warlocks).
Please do not complain about it because you might as well be begging for people to tell you to ‘go back to retail’.

Just get some of these, and you you don’t need to worry about getting a spell locked. Edit. My bad not getting silenced is what I meant. and thanks for pointing that out Mkjnj.

Mages are OP as hell in vanilla. Get over it. If you are a rogue/warrior/sp you are pretty much gonna get owned by them. Other classes got some fair chances vs them but again many consider mages the best pvp class.

Resto pot doesn’t remove spell lock lmao… It can remove the 4 second blanket silence but since it ticks every 5 seconds it won’t help much at all.
Haha, Yeah I confused those two. It last 30 sec, in that 30 sec it ticks every 5 second, which means (if lucky) you can get dispelled from novas to avoid shattering and slow effect of frost bolt, so I would not call it completely useless.

The concept of “nerfing” doesn’t exist in Classic. That’s a retail thing.

A Priest should always dispel Novas himself and never wait on a 5 second tick. Not to mention that Resto pot puts all your other pots on a CD. So yeah it’s utterly useless for a Priest.
Rogues are cryptonite for cloth users! but Rogues aren’t even close to be as OP as mages is in pvp in this vanilla… atelast you have a fair chans against a rogue or any other class.
