It wasnt. Tier set was broken and you haf to have 100% uptime on drw. Even then you could be one shoted since it was roughly 80 parry. Thats why you situationally ptocced cheath dead. The toolkit as such was way worse than now

I’m just here to eat popcorn and wonder what the issue is.
I changed from my pala to monk at the beginning of tww because pala wasn’t really any good - now it’s great and I am happy for them. Still play my monk.
Awesome prot pala is great, great for the people playing it. I’m having fun with my monk, only issue can be keeping aggro, but even that we get around during raids. 
What exactly is the issue? It’ll be changed around eventually again, it always does.

No this is issue with skill level. Not my fault that mahority of the prot palas dont know how to play and are unable to keep your uptimes up.
So play your BDK better its only a skill issue
Best key youve done is +3, i doubt it matters what tank youre playing with on your “skill” level

I remember your dk, we were doing +4 mist together and you kept dying to orbs on second boss and the key depleted. You were crying after how if you were pala you could just bubble the balls mechanic

Instead of nerfing anything right now, I think Blizzard would do the best by giving some love to Brew master Monks. I feel like they’ve been neglected for too long.
Hopefully it won’t be the kind of love hunters received recently.

100% block ? This is only achieved by standing in consecrate + wog on self ( 2 globals , one that cuts into holy power unless you already have a shining light proc. Congrats, you now have 4.5 seconds of 100% block if talented properly.
50% parry? Again, only on avengers shield cast and with high str/ crit values. Only lasts a short duration.
On pull, you have to set these conditions up. You’re already 3-4 globals deep whereas a warrior can charge in , leap to the next pack and roll his face across the keyboard.

This is complete nonsense your parry is literally 15 sec that is in line with cd for avenger shield which means you have it all the time in combat… the downside is its range from 5 to 25 based on the mob count or rather hits. And you have also proc shields.
Nobody cares that you need ro spend 2 gcd. Thats like i will cry about not having runic power for death strike because i have to hearth strike first and spen dmg abbilieties on aggro purposes that dont even generate runic power, ridiculous. With proper play its quite achievable, nothing really hard to do. Then again it might require more skill which i can agree on.
Again you are talking about a physical part of warriors kit. Then you go to do mobs in grim batol before 2nd boss and everything you mentioned except for ignore pain has no use. Every tank has some dowsides but i struggle to find any for prot pala except for the fact you need to use brajn more than for druid/warr.
What do you care about endgame rankings? You aint even lvl 30:)

I think you are clueless as well. AMS had longer cd than the spell + it does not prevent the slow. So you get it like 2/3 time depends on dmg and how the boss is phasing. And you need to run away to get rid of slow
