I got woken up at 4:30am today by drunken neighbours and decided I may as well play a little WoW as I couldn’t get back to sleep.
Thinking to myself, “this may be an ideal time to farm herbs” I decided to go looking for some Plaguebloom. I started in Felwood, not a single node and numerous people farming the area. I move to Western Plaguelands, I get two nodes and a very angry russian swearing at me cause I was farming in his area. I lastly move to Eastern Plaguelands and get absolutely nothing. So by 7:00am, after running around these zones for 2.5hrs I managed to find 5 Plaguebloom… that is not 5 nodes… that is 5 total Plaguebloom.
I don’t know about anyone else but I find this absolutely ridiculous. The spawn rate of this needs to be increased massively, layering needs to return or they need to reduce server populations and force people to move.
No. There isn’t any issue with the normal herbs. Price are cheap & easy to find.
I had the same experience as you but the reality is : since the black lotus nerf, there are a lot of players farming herbs all day all night. Making it harder to find.
But there is litteraly no reason to nerf this too.
I dropped mining back in October after being unable to find more that 1-2 small thorium veins out in the world after a couple of hours of running circles in EPL, WPL and Un Goro.
Russians and Ukrainians are up 20 hours a day farming out in the world to pay their rent, man. Just give it up already.
This is a knock on effect from BL change. I went to EPL last night at various times and found Plaguebloom but not as much as I would normally find but I did notice that Horde was back out in the open world in number (my server is vastly Horde dominated) with these changes in fact I probably had more WPvP than I’ve had in months in EPL usually the only zone I get a lot of WPvP in nowadays is Silithus.
Strange.
I got full stack like 2 days ago with my hunter. Went felwood few runs ups and down.
But i noticed hordes of hordes are out of their imps holes again.
Its ok as long they came 1 by 1
Well, I wonder how is that possible there isn’t time, where you could farm in peace, without horde of ppl. Ofc it mainly depends on the given server and its population, but still… I would expect that in early morning zones will be almost empty.
I like the BL spawn change… however the BL zones now reminds the gold fever.
