Sorry if I’m unnecessarily making a thread for this, just wasn’t too sure about the other way to go about it!
I’ve used my 120-level boost to create a Belf Paladin and I’m eager to try Blood Elf RP, but I haven’t got much of an idea on how to go about it! I’ve read the lore and landed on roleplaying a Blood Knight, but I’m looking for a RP guild that’ll be a good fit for a Blood Knight and one that’ll help me expand my Belf knowledge!
I know there’s plenty of posts for Belf guilds on the forums, just wasn’t too sure whether or not they’re a good suit when I was reading through them. Thought it was more appropriate to make a post and see what people say!
Thanks for taking the time to read my post
Have a good day!
I would personally suggest taking a long and close look at the Highblood Myrmidons. They’re a bit of a spec ops-like group, focused on the recovery of relics and fighting for the Horde.
Really swell dudes, especially Elyrius & Koríane Airande (their officers).
Hi Brightbound, I’m an officer for the Highblood Myrmidons. What we can offer you is a large community of Blood Elf and Nightborne rpers who carry out a high standard of roleplay. We are very welcoming to new rpers and would be glad to have you among us, all of our members are very friendly and willing to help others out.
We roleplay with many other guilds, as well, and actively push including everyone in our roleplay, so you’ll never be bored.
You can message myself, Elyrius, or Angõ in game if you wish to learn more, or receive an invite.
My suggestion would be to have a look around in the game as well. Not all the guilds choose to have a presence on the forums or at least not a major one.
There will be no shortage of guilds wanting you to be a number on their tally, and that guild might be the right one for you but joining the wrong guild is also one of the worst things that could happen to a character as most of the time I have heard such a thing happening it has killed peoples enjoyment. Even if the guild isn’t a bad but simply wrong for the player.
Take your time, weigh your options. There will never come a time where a guild that asked you to join once will say no at a later date.
In active guilds who’d take a Blood Knight that I can remember at the moment;
Division Twenty Three: specialised Blood Knights
Crimson Vanguard: I think they are slightly less specialised, taking other concepts as well, but still BK affiliated.
Sanguine Eye: modelled after the Sunfury in the “Have to protect Quel’thalas at all costs”, to my knowledge.
Thalassian Skyguard: Farstrider affiliated, dragonhawk riders, but they take paladins in.
Highborn… something?: I’m ashamed to say I forgot the other part of the name; I remember it’s a rassemblement of Blood Elves and Nightbornes with a military angle.
Spellbreaker Academy: a fairly recent guild I saw pass around in Silvermoon, with a quite telling name.
There’s many more guilds that are not particularly angled toward the Blood Elves but would take a Blood Knight as well, of course.
Hmmm, i could also suggest my small guild. We are not part of the horde, we are neutral. We do take all races though. We are a group of mages, scholars and adventurers, and we venture out to search for artifacts, in order to research and safekeep them.
Our roleplay is mostly based on mages and scholars, however all people seeking to adventure are welcome.
