Earlier this week Blizzard announced their plan to support more Eastern European currencies on its Battle.net Shop. The changes are now live.
Before these changes, players from Ukraine, Georgia, and Kazakhstan paid for the subscription and services in Russian Roubles, whereas players from Turkey paid in Euro. Russian Roubles kept on Battle.net Balance have been converted to new currencies using the current exchange rate.
However, players from these countries are no longer able to use PayPal as their payment method (Battle.net Shop is still accepting credit cards and Battle.net Balance funds).
