I suspect I have the misfortune of being older…
Saeryn:
Anyway, if it’s a no. Why is it a problem that Void Elves get Blood Elf hair colors?
Personally I wouldn’t use blondes, browns or reds even if they were supplied.
I just want one black one, (real black like your human there) and one white one, like the Night Elf white one.
Name another Allied Race that is getting updates. Now name another Allied Race that is not satisfied with these updates, but wants ones that belong to a core race?
There aren’t any.
That’s your problem. Void/High Elves want the Blood Elf stuff -as well as- being the only Allied Race that is getting an update. Don’t you for a moment see how bad that looks? The precedent?
We were told for ages that High Elf skins for Void Elves would be enough. That is happening. It did not even take a day before people are demanding extra classes, Blood Elf Styles, Blood Elf Hair colours.
What -is- there about the Blood Elf Core race that has not been asked for by some Pro-High Elf person?
(I’ll give you a short answer. Nothing)
Some want Tattoos still because Alleria, despite her not having even -been- on Azeroth when the schism happened.
This is exactly the thing that High Elf Fans promised would not happen, and it didn’t even take 24 hours before it did.
Fantastic. They didn’t want High Elves. They wanted Blood Elves but playable as Alliance.
Basically two Races for the slot of one. So where is the Horde alternative?
I mean if the High Elves are getting all the Blood Elf stuff, then what new stuff are the Blood Elves, the 90% of the Race getting as a compensation for this?
Don’t you see the problem. An Allied Race has a unique option that no other Allied Race on Horde or Alliance has gotten, and this is -still- not enough? They want -everything- that a Core race has?
Answer me that.
What are the other Allied Races getting?
What -extras- are the Blood Elves getting, so that the High+Void Elves suddenly don’t get all their options?
Core Race>Allied Race. I thought everyone understood that, until now, when truly, a half mile has been given, but that is not enough, now it must be absolute parity with a Core Race.
I am truly beginning to see why this may have been a bad idea, and I supported High Elves for Alliance. Not High Elves plus other options.
So yeah, those two questions. If you can’t answer those, then you have right there, the problem.
