New customization options for blood elves and void elves

Did you even heard their jokes?

  • “Ugh I hate Thunder Bluff! You can’t find a good burger anywhere.”

  • “So I went to this troll spa the other day and I wound up with dreadlocks and a frigging bone in my nose! I mean come on! Who PAYS for that?”

  • “I went to Undercity to get a facial. Ha! Have you seen these people? I said, ‘You don’t have a lower jaw and you’re going to give ME a facial?’ She got mad…at least I think she did. You ever heard someone talk without a lower jaw? ‘Rawe-rau-werew’ Ho-ho! She sounded like a murloc!”

Out of necessity, more like.
They tried to ally with the Alliance instead, until they figured out that the Alliance was more interesting, in sending spies and potential saboteurs to the lands.

I know where they were.
In Quel’Lithien sulking and doing nothing because they lacked the strength to do so due to the withdrawals of their addiction.
Other rested in Quel’danil and in the bubble of Dalaran, again, lacking the strength to actually do anything, while the Blood Elves had the strength and power to actually correct the mistake that was all of their royalty. Kael’thas was the prince and leader of all elves of Quel’thalas, and only the Blood Elves chose to deal with him.

Jokes should not be used as facts.

Otherwise the Void elf joke: “oh who does my hair? You might have heard of my stylist it’s called “THE VOID” would be relevant too.

Still I mean those void elves did a oopsie… and look what they turned into? And I think the jokes would have some truth behind them. And the second generation of void elves are high elves and blood elves. So those jokes will not really work for them.

They really don’t.
Atleast I don’t think the humans little joke that is referencing Lord of the Rings has any truth to it.
They are out-of-lore jokes.

We have the Night Elf female jokes as well.

“You know, I have to keep moving at night. Or I’ll disappear!” a direct reference to how Shadowmeld used to work in WC3, where the Night Elves would automatically stealth when standing still in the night.

“Actually, I’m more of a… Morning Elf.” an obvious, ridicolous joke that has no bearing on lore.

“You know, Wisps are actually pretty useful for personal hygiene.” considering the Night ELves’ views on wisps, this is highly offensive.

“I think guys just use the Emerald Dream as an excuse to avoid calling me back.” seriously.

So you can’t really say Blood elves are racist to the Horde based on jokes.

Blood elves have stereotypical jokes based on “the mean girls” in the teenage movies. It’s not Relevant.

Like would you actually believe blood elves would eat Taurens? That’s silly

Can we really call it “helping” if your entire reason for existing is to oppose and antagonize a group of people that were invited to the city you dwell in to aid in the war effort against a rogue Dragonflight and the Lich King?

At least the Elves on Outland had some moral standing for working against Kael. cant really say the same for the individuals they brought in for Wotlk.

Blood elves are racists to everyone xD that is the whole problem. And Their jokes I mean would you ever think a blood elf would eat a tauren… They have standards… did you see what I did there?

Not really… if you are implying they are noble, so are the High elves and Night elves as a matter of fact, even Nightborne have jokes that bash the Night elves. ALL elves are like that

High elves and nobles? They kind lost their city to the horde, Live among humans and other races. Hate their own people who joined the horde… Yep that sounds really noble. And if you say the blood elves work allong side the horde they still have their own city.

The Blood Elves are the one race that understands where prejudice and bigotry gets them. They suffered greatly at the hands of a judgemental bigot, they even understand that the Alliance creates their own enemies.

Blood Elves have experienced racism first hand, and are quite quick to quell it too. They have become far less xenophobic than their High Elven kin.

Blaming the alliance for the hordes existence is half true… but then again what did the alliance supposed to do let them go around free and be like ah yess go free orcs who raided our homelands and started a war?

They aren’t racist. Elves (Yes all elves) in general are arrogant and that goes back to the Highborne and Azshara in general.

Edit: and if people say Night Elves aren’t arrogant as their Highborne brethren they have their facts wrong. Elves represent the perfection of beauty and eternal youth so of course they will look down upon other non elf races.

I mean look at Tyrande…

Once it was found that it was demon blood which corrupted the minds of the orcs, perhaps stop treating them like worthless slaves and start building a better relationship with them, the orcs became extremely docile once the demon blood wore off, some even got extremely lazy.

The humans instead chose to stomp them down at every turn, vengeance, basically, racism.

It had a violent outcome as a result, even when the humans had Thrall to act as a medium between the two. An educated orc.

Prejudice and bigotry.

The Darkspear trolls joined the Horde after Thrall and the orcs saved them from Kul’tiran humans, and Naga.

The Goblins joined the Horde after the Alliance was determined to ‘leave no witnesses’ and proceeded to hunt down the goblins, they were saved by the Horde.

The Blood Elves joined the Horde because the Alliance was too busy spying and potentially destroy buildings essential to their survival, invading Quel’thalas too.

The orcs, tauren and forsaken are potentially the only races in the Horde currently that have no excuse for being hunted down by the Alliance. The tauren joined and associated with the orcs willingly, the forsaken are… well, forsaken. And yes, the orcs had ancestors that did bad, but the Alliance then also determined that the younger generation who were not a part of that bad deed, also did a bad deed simply for being orcs.

That is prejudice and bigotry.

Hell, even Garrosh, despite never having been a part of any of the events of the first and second war, as a matter of fact, he and his clan was locked away due to a disease, but he was charged with warcrimes committed during the first and second war.

Prejudice and bigotry.

It was never stated why the night elves spied on the blood elves. My theory is that when they heard that the blood elves started using fel they thought they might be working for the Legion so they wanted to make sure that wasn’t true. But it was actually never really explained 100% why the Night Elves were trying to sabotage the Sin’dorei.

Ehmmm… Even if it was Demon blood they drank it twice… so what is their excuse then? And humans were afraid they would start a war again.

But they are allied with the Humans and Gnomes, who also use fel magic and can become Warlocks.

That to me, makes the Night Elves look so hypocritical, it’s not even funny.

And you can’t say that they had a fountain of power, because at that time, they didn’t. They were dealing with Scourge and Amani threats and the Night Elves didn’t help.

Nope, it wasn’t.
But it happened.

Yup, the warsong did.

A hatred that was fostered by the Alliance themselves while the orcs were in internment camps. Fostering that hatred certainly increased the risks of war indeed.

Basically, the Alliance of Lordaeron had goofed it after they won.

Instead of reconciliation, they fostered hatred.

I’m assuming it’s just a plot to justify them joining the Horde. If you look at the behind the scenes video of when they created the Blood elves, they said that it doesn’t make sense at first why they would be Horde, but when you do the starting zone it makes more and more sense. I’m assuming they only added that part, along with the Dwarf spy, to justify it.

And why are we even arguing about this? The topic is customization options for both Blood elves and Void elves. Not the history of why this (race) and that (race) joined the factions.
Or who is more racist. The conversation is heading towards a weird direction
