I’ve been wanting high elves for years. They’ve been the most requested playable race since Vanilla. And we’re almost there. I would really like to get the last few steps.
I’m sorry if it comes off as I’m saying that. I’m thrilled for both Horde blood elves and Alliance high elves. Personally, though, I prefer the Alliance, and the high elves. Others love Horde blood elves, and that’s awesome. My point was to point out the errors in Erevien’s logic, because he’s actually arguing that proper high elf options for Alliance players will lead to a landslide of blood elf players abandoning the Horde.
The High elf story is to be a subordinate of the humans. Blood elves however are a sovereign kingdom that ain’t answering to no one.
in old RPG sources everyone in Quel’thalas looks down on mixed children. So you lose respect of all thalassian natives.

Those are no longer canon, and can’t be considered valid lore.
If that were the case, we’d see it already. It’s not. As many have pointed out, most blood elf players today actually enjoy playing in the Horde.

You can keep living in whatever imaginary world you want, but at the end of the day your character tag is “Void Elf” not “High Elf”.
I will take it as a compliment though that you prefer to look more like my characters instead of being granted your own race identity. As such I will refer to you as “Bloodelf 2.0”

You took away the original Void Elf eye colour of white core blue surround why?
Also why have you forced all male Void Elf skintones 1 - 6 to have pinkeye makeup around our eyes that is larger and darker than females.
It looks like I have pinkeye or have been punched in the eyes or my nose has been broken.
Can you please tell me why you decided to force me to wear makeup? I looked that way for 4 years and you just decided to completely change it for no reason.
Also why were none of the NPC’s in the game updated to also have this eye makeup, they all have pre-patch non eye makeup…

High elves are already a part of the Alliance. The race is on both factions, but not yet playable on the Alliance.

Just connecting the dots here. The player’s a German user, similar join date to our local German belf RP-fan with a similar writing style. Can be an alt but has not to be.

The reason the helfs are not playabe is because they are IDENTICAL to belfs. Blizz knows this, Ion said it to your face. The fact that they were kind enough to get you close to your helfs was really nice, but you people keep asking for more. So yeah, when people say that you’ll come for the Belf city next, cause… well cause you’ve been wanting it for a real long time, is not an exaggeration at all.
I mean, humans did that too. Gilneas comes to mind?
