New customization options for blood elves and void elves

Stalker level over 9000

My roommate is german and made me play on Blackmoore but I eventually got him to play on an english server with me instead :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah, I see.

Just a bit of investigation there with public available data. Stalking would actually mean to go through the posting history of the user.

Relatively new to writing in the forums since it’s just a huge pile of complaints that are unread by devs. You’d hate me though if you did check my history since I come across very passive agressive in text form ^^

Given how many people post here on alts to empower themselves in a positive and negative way, it certainly is handy to know who trolls whom.

The forums are usually a good platform to meet the community. I would also advice visiting the Fortune Favored discord channel where the regulars are more chill compared to the forums where it is bLoOd AnD tHuNdEr all the time.

Your WM and Mithic/BG que says otherwise.

How many accounts is not as how many playing.

Let’s assume Void elves are not a thing (just for the argument)

They can easily make High elves unique looking. New hairstyles, feathers, Tattoos. I mean look at Alleria she doesn’t look like any Blood elf or High elf I’ve seen. They can easily create a new racial too since High elves don’t suck magic out of animals so arcane torrent is out of the picture. (Now this is assuming Void elves were not a thing)

True. Took them long enough, but True.

A few people

But Obviously asking for a few more stuff like Black hair color is completely normal.

Literally nobody sane wants Silvermoon. Not even High elf fans because Actual High elf NPC’s don’t live in Silvermoon, they were exiled.

However, there is a vanilla Area called “Quel’thelas” that is hidden behind a mountain. If you go to that area you will see Ancient High elf Building, almost looks Highborne. It’s completely empty and Hidden outside of the Quel’thelas borders. and ever since Shadowlands PTR the area has been covered with a Voidy sky (so blizzard might be planning something or it’s just a Easter egg)

Blood Elves don’t suck magic out of other living beings anymore, just an fyi.

Regarding the zones I can totally see Blizzard give you at least a portion, if not all of it once they’ve caved into every other demand the helfers have. I reckon the only reason it might be off the table is because the whole place is an irrelevant and outdated mess and such a change would warrant some form of revamp which is obviously something they have no interest in doing.

Void elves and blood elves are getting yet another eye colour that brings both races visually closer to high elves. https://www.wowhead.com/news=318815/new-customizations-for-shadowlands-build-36401-void-elf-and-blood-elf-eye-color

While highborne fans are still being ignored :frowning:

That’s not the subject in this thread, though. This is about new customization options for blood elves and void elves, many of which are stated to having been added to meet the high elf fantasy (although a blood elf with blue eyes is still a blood elf, of course).

My point is that even amidst a delayed Shadowlands launch, and Blizzard facing several challenges, they’re still listening to the players, and continue adding new options. I’m thrilled about that, and remain even more hopefull about getting natural hair colours for void elves.

Of course you are thrilled, you got what you wanted. Highborne fans literally got 0 things. No regal hairstyles, no golden jewelry option, no fancier jewelry, no Azshara skin tone!

Edit: and before you say anything. People made posts about wanting Highborne options for night elves both on the Eu and us forums and they just got ignored.

I’m can’t tell people what to be engaged in and not. Personally, I’m engaged in the subject that’s relevant to this thread. I haven’t really gotten what I want, but I’m hopeful that Ismaor will be able to fully look like a high elf one day. I’m thrilled about the features we’ve gotten so far, though. Perhaps the market for highborne features for night elves isn’t really big enough to keep interest up. It’s a shame if that’s the case, and I really do hope you’ll get some real highborne night elf options. This, however, is a thread about blood elves and void elves, and the high elven features those are getting.

I wanted to add this here, from another debate, because I think it’s an important note. Steve Danuser said this, when asked about playing a Wildhammer dwarf even though you start in a Bronzebeard starting experience:

A: It’s a little complex because we asked ourselves the question of, we have these really cool options like Wildhammer tattoos, but does that mean we need to make a Wildhammer starting experience? If we give trolls skin options that look like other troll tribes besides Darkspear, does that mean we have to make new starting experiences for them as well? The onus of that would’ve meant that we couldn’t do these things because that would be so much time and would consume so many resources to be able to do that, that it just wouldn’t have been practical for us to do. And so then the question is, do we limit the options that we give players because of some storyline concern, or resource concern, or anything like that? And we said, no. We’re not gonna’ do that. So while we’re not gonna’ give you a dedicated Wildhammer starting experience if you pick those tattoos, the freedom should be there in your mind to roleplay your character how you want to roleplay them. Whatever tattoos, customizations, whatever skin color options you pick, come up with a story that fits your character, and that’s your place in the world. And regardless of what quest text is, or how it refers to you, remember that it’s your choice and your character, and you get to express yourself that way. That’s at the bottom line of what we want Azeroth to be. We want it to be this welcoming place that lets all those options be out there, lets people experience them, and again, choose the path that your character wants to be. And don’t let anyone else tell you what your character can or can’t be. You decide that.

There are a few, small steps left in order to be able to fully play as high elves by rolling a void elf. I really hope we’ll get there.
