Kael’thas also had a drain mana spell before even meeting Illidan in WC3.
Illidan did not have a drain mana spell, but a mana burn spell which ended up a priest spell in World of Warcraft.

Technically sister we are only a danger to the Sunwell (and no single void elf would wanna endanger it) not Silvermoon nor our people 
Destroying the sunwell or spreading void corruption through it would likley kill many of them.
I mean void elves are studying/were following Dar’khans works, the guy who caused the fall the first time, they were exiled for very good reason, threat to their existance.
If they didnt want to be a ongoing danger to their people they wouldnt going the alliance to help kill them.

Maybe they shouldn’t have kicked them out completely and abandon them. And now they are following Alleria’s and Locus Walkers teachings who are both masters of the void and on our side. Not to mention Alleria is a hero of Quel’thalas and she risked her life to stop the Horde when she went beyond the dark portal only to come back and see that her people were ruined and some of them joined her enemies who killed her family.

Yeah yeah call us what you want. You are also traitors for kicking Vereesa and the rest of the elves who refused to absorb living beings out of their own homeland! And also for siding with the ones who killed many of our people back in the Second War.

So will Blood Elves be getting something in terms of compensation for the Void Elves getting, what , 14-16 skin tones (assuming they get all of them) from Blood Elves?
Blood Elves can hardly share the void themed skin tones after all given they are uncorrupted elves and Void Elves are void corrupted.
Okay cool. What would be a really cool option for Blood Elves is the red runic tattoos you see on them in official art and would maybe help to further distinguish them. I doubt we’ll get it after all these new options now. Can’t have everything. I’m happy for the players who gained something they want with this update though!

Reminder:
Rommath was the primary emissary of Kael’thas, and thus the Burning Legion. He tricked bumbling Lor’themar into putting Fel crystals with evil demon eyes all over Quel’thalas, ensuring that all Blood Elves were fel-corrupted.
Rommath is the reason for everything that went wrong for the Blood Elves in TBC including the total death of their race because of Kil’jaeden’s summoning in the Sunwell, and the Draenei saving them is the only reason the Blood Elves still exist.

Forgetting the humans used belves as meat shields to be sacrificed. Those lot sided with them against their own people 
They rightly deserved their banishments.
Oh yesss… it IS a small thing, but tbh it has always bugged me that my hair bands would have to be blue. Spoils the mogs…
So I’d be all for red and golden hair bands for the Blood Elves and whatever blue or dark ones for the Void Elves.
Or even better, make them (hair bands) customizable, lol. 
I love the runes in the concept art, would kill to have gotten them to make the elves a bit more rough instead of body chains we wont even be able to see and necklaces also probably disapearing under armor.
The red runes looked awesome in concept art 10/10 taste.

Is it treachery to be kicked out of your homeland? 
On the topic of eye colours, perhaps velfs could also get the green eyes from Sin’dorei? Considering they were blood elves originally, and there are plenty of sin’dorei defectors in Telogrus, it’d make sense to have as an option. Belfs’d still keep gold eyes exclusively.

Void Elves could go to Ghostlands~ instead of Alliance. They should be kicked out of surrounding of Sunwell but from one faction to another? Very far-fetched… teenager writing.
