Their core race is gone it has been for 2+ years. Just as they pretty much got Highborn night elves (granted in the worst way possible such ugly models)
Letâs be honest here horde is never getting what we asked for. I think what we mostly would like is dark ranger looks (sylvanas) or the other more evil looking elf race which i cannot remember name of.
at the very least void elves are distinct and they are Blood Elves

Well they did work with the horde in Nazmir so either they are allies or neutral at best.
Sanâlayn, the lore would be difficult for them, but not so much for undead elves.
Either way would be a great opportunity to port the night elf model over to the Horde.

as much as iâd like to see the Sanâlayn join the Forsaken in the Horde they pretty much drew a line through that one in the war campaign
But Sanâlayn are NOT night elves.
If weâre going down this line of thinking, then I reckon void elf females should have the night elf model, just like in Classic.
The only race that works is giving playable Naga, where they transform to a âKaldorei/Shalâdoreiâ like humanoid form when on land.
You are simply not listening, we donât want copies of a race on the other faction, why would we want copies of night elves for the Horde?
I was mostly thinking about undead elves, even though male Sanâlayn do seem to look similar to night elves. But youâre right, and undead elves would be awesome.
Protect it from what? If you think Skin color and eye color being added to the Velves is going to take away the blood elves fame, then you are highly mistaken.
1 - Majority of the people that play this game are horde. Look at the faction balance. So theyâll choose blood elves over Void elves.
2- Blood elves have two extra classes which is a plus, especially since one of them is a Demon Hunter.
3- Blood elves have the better racial city. Who goes to that black rock in space? I donât see anyone other than level 20 Void elves who just logged on. Silvermoon is better even RP wise.
4- Blood elves have many natural hair colors, even blonde (which is the most popular pick when it comes to elf women)
5- Blood elves not only have blonde hair, but they also have Blue eyes. Real Looking High elves can now be found at the Horde. They also have Yellow, blind, and Green eyes.
6 - Blood elves have Many many many cool Hairstyles to choose from (ones without tentacles)
7- Arcane Torrent is better
8- Jewelry. Lots and lots of Jewelry.
Letâs assume they add red eyes to Blood elves Dk, and that would make them even more popular.
You see, even with the customization Void elves are getting, Blood elves would still be more popular. Heck even I will make some Blood elf toons, but my Voidy will always be my main cause Iâm alliance at heart

Because just like with Void Elves and Nightborne, Blizzard do trade those models between the factions.
Again, the only way this works is if Sanâlayn are made into a âfeatureâ and the Night Elves are given more âHighborneâ looks.
They are at its core Vampire Blood Elves, the model ingame isnât the best representation of them but neither is Kaelâthas, White and Grey skin tones and a selection of red/orange/yellow (not golden) eye options would let you make a pretty decent Sanâlayn.

Seeing as Sandfury will be an option for otherwise jungle trolls, together with Dark trolls and others, I really donât see why Sanâlayn options couldnât be added to blood elves similarly.
