New customization options for blood elves and void elves

The nightborne are what a faction trade should look like. No one would mistake a nightborne for a night elf, so there’s no problem there. If the San’layn would look that distinctive, to the point they are a distinct race, that would be fine on my book. Except then we are not talking about cosmetic options for blood elves, but of adding yet another elf race to the Horde, which I don’t see Blizzard doing.

I beg to differ. As I said:

If you ask me, San’layn doesn’t work because you either want the Darkfallen NPCs which are just Blood Elf Death Knights in appearance or you want the Blood Prince/Queen model which is a mix, but then your leaving out the female night elf model.

All of this equality cr*p then just goes further and further into the realms of stupidity.

Except, the San’layn that work with the Blood Elf models are already playable via the Blood Elf Death Knights. All we need are red eyes and hey-presto.

Sort of true, but wouldn’t it be sweet to play them with other classes as well? Hunters?

I would rather have fel blood elves than undead ones to be honest, but I guess that’s just me, it’s not an option I see requested often, at least not on this forums. Even wretched would be more interesting.

Well yes, but that is essentially then the San’layn features. Red eyes.

Fel Elves are arguably seen in the Demon Hunters and to some extent, Warlocks (but that is dependent on RP.)
Felborne and Felblood Elves are, as far as the common lore goes, disbanded for the most part. Exiled at best, killed at worst, forgotten if we’re being moderate.

I think it’s because nearly all Fel Elves were followers of the prince and inturn betrayers of there own kin, your asking to be the enemy.

The dark rangers or san’layn are more in a grey area.

I wouldnt mind playing Sylvanas look alike i think she is gorgerous. If they are going to take our looks to another race id like us to get more options too. Making eather pretty angelic elf or the opposite darker evil looking elf would be nice.

to me San’layn would need to be their own thing, with wings and vampiric racials to set them apart

I don’t see that happening at all really
more likely just undead skin tones and red eyes for the Dark Ranger aesthetic nobody really cares for except Sylvanas RPers

The Night Elves are getting a blinded-gold eye colour which I reckon could work as a Kaldorei Dark Ranger.
Use that eye colour with the Mythic Eagletalon Set from Emerald Nightmare and your onto a winner.

I’m not Rper but i just think she is a nice looking npc. :woman_shrugging:

well if Blizzard keeps on into the ‘death’ route we may see the last space filled with Dark Rangers of both faction

No not the San’layn, all but the small group that talked to Sylvanas were always our enemy.

I think some of Kael’s followers were allowed to rejoined Silvermoon, although you could argue that fel blood elves were too far gone to be included on that group.

I would rather go down the dark path :smiling_imp:

Felblood options for blood elves would be awesome! Kael is a thing we meet. Otherwise, there’s got to be a few lurking around that survived Kael’s stunts, unemployed and homesick.

I’m there with you. So thats why its my hope we blood elves would get that customization in case we do end up losing our identity to void elves.

I would say those exist already, the Blood Elves with their Sunwell are clearly the void elf antithesis

The dark path is not nice. I look like a Undead elf walking through the Ghostlands. At least a blood elf guy Complimented my character said he likes Edgy girls. I love having a conversation with them in Thalassian

But they weren’t felblood elves.
The Sunfury returned from Outland and pledged to help the Farstriders, which they did with great success - but as far as the actual felblood elves go, they were Legion associated, just like their felborne kin from Suramar and their are no records of them joining their respective nations and the Horde.

Thalyssra states that many loyalists of Elisande sought forgiveness after the war on Suramar, and she granted it to them, but it isn’t likely that any of these were Felborne.

Maybe but giving red eyes and some eyemakeup, scars or tattoos would make us look different… and long hairstyles god stop with the short ugly boy haircuts!

Arguably, they’re already in.
