Tbh I never bought anything that happened to Azeroth even from Vanilla…
With this mindset, why would the Tauren murder the night elves since they both care only about preserving the balance of nature, while at the same time work with goblins and undead that supposedly ruin the enviroment? Or how did the forsaken remain in the Horde for such a long time and even ruled it, when even the classic intro tells us that they are extremely sinister and at the end of the day they just want to erase all life?
As far as High elves are concerned, we did see them being hostile towards blood elves from Wotlk, but ultimately I think Wow doesn’t make a lot of sense lore wise in most cases.

Always adding more chars to the roster so I don’t mind playing high elves on the other faction c:

We loose story and identity getting highelves in the horde undermines a lot of the best bloodelf identity politics.
Justice for the sunreavers!

I’m taking from this that we are all High Elves now.

Sunreavers got booted out of Dalaran by Jaina, the Silver Covenant clearly didn’t like them.

Void Elves get booted out of Silvermoon, last High Elves join void elves, High elves no longer a thing.

This is all very nice and all, and I’m very happy for certain people out there.

But 1. You’re(They - Blizzard) pandarenizing the Blood Elves, wich seems kind of uncool.

  1. It was said you were going to focus on the core races first, but now you’re going out of your way to serve a vocal minority. I really hope the other races, including the Blood Elves will receive their justice too then, it’s only fair, right? Since Allot of other races are already worse off when it came to customization options.

  2. Now that you’re so focused on an Allied race, you’ll also give the same attention to the other Allied races? from which, again, some were already worse off.

  3. I do hope the quality and quantity of options for the other races isn’t going to suffer now, because Blizzard decided to go out of their way to pander to a, as can be seen by the line of posting, a very entitled group of players.

  4. This is a very slippery slope -World of Elfwars incoming!

Again, when I say You here, I mean Blizzard, and yes, these questions needed to be asked.

Edit: our racials ain’t half bad too, spell casts are not delayed by taking damage and random 5% dmg and healing procs

These are the salty tears I have been waiting for.
But don’t worry, the Horde will be still the better faction for a while.

You won’t loose nothing. Don’t know what are you talking about. Your blood elf won’t be renamed for high elf. You still be blood elf, tho you have option to customize your character to look like (perhaps) former High elf.
This was asked for eons on both sides.
Players are getting what were they hopping for like from Vanilla.

On the contrary, it could be progression in the Blood Elves’ story. I mean, it IS kind of ridiculous to think that the political view of a character is defined only by eye color, isn’t it? Not to mention that Blood Elves have taken a few steps back from the whole “fel” thing - considering how fast their eye color adapted to it, isn’t it logical to assume that it should slowly return to blue or yellow, now, that the sunwell is flooded with light and arcane powers?

Regarding the fate of the Sunreavers - Aethas is back in Dalaran, just waiting for you to punch him in the face for his glorious incomptence! :yum: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Remove all races now and lets all be one faction, World of warcraft, the world of the elves

Nope.
Blood elves: Left the old alliance with Kael’thas, then left Kael’thas to join Horde
High elves: Always stayed in the alliance, except they lost Silvermoon and Lordaeron
Void elves: Blood elves that were banished from Silvermoon and were approached by Alleria in Bfa+ High elves that learned void powers from banished blood elves
To be fair they have some reason to not be best pals, but I agree it’s hardly convincing.

Implying blizzard will give us story or explaination for any of this. I could be swaye with good story telling, but Its likley it will just be an option with no good reason.
The eye colour has always been a political point of identity, just yeeting it is so sad.

Don’t get me wrong, and I’m absolutely not accusing you of anything. But I’m just saying, not wanting other people to have nice things because it (in your view) somehow affects you is just… meh. It reminds of me of certain real-life political debates which I won’t mention here.

still wont be enough for some, prolyl gonna mae hundreds of threads for tatoos like alleria now
and few hundre more about how this is all is a huge mistake

Ive never wanted playable highelves not even in the alliance, never mind in the horde
Id have prefered more bloodlef plot, like the seige of silvermoon we never got instead of blue eyes.

This so much, green eyes at this point would be limited to none magically inclined Blood Elves (as id imagine it would take longer for there eyes tor return to blue, over say an Arcane Mage.) and Warlocks.

They arn’t really High Elves just blood elves who stopped using fell, which by the standards of the Lore is a thing. The sunwell is restored its Arcane and Holy.

Take out them green contact lenses.
