Do you guys think we’ll get some new DH races in the next expansion or the one after 11.0? I have a feeling that we’ll get a bunch of new Allied Races in the next expansion, considering how many teasers there are now.
I really hope we might get Naga as a playable race with DH as one of the choices
I doubt we will get new Demon Hunter races in the future given their nature and what they are there for unless we will get a return of the Burning Legion. So if you want to get the third Add-on against Demons it may be happening.
I hope not. One of the least remaining cool thing about nigh elves, is that DH can only be that (aliance side). Races should have more unique stuff about em, not less. Its enough already that rogues can be taurens. That should never happened.
I think if we are to have demon hunters of other races, there’d need to be compelling lore reasons for them to exist. Right now for demon hunters, that is very hard for two reasons:
I’d not be surprised if the role of demon hunters in lore comes to the forefront again, but it is unlikely to happen any time soon.

If Nightborne will get Felborne option in 10.1, then we will get Nightborne Demon Hunters

I’d be borderline fine with velf + nb, but big no to anything else. It’s gonna look like an absolute clown fiesta with vulpera/orc/tauren/gnome demon hunters to mention few. Double jumping tauren? pls no. I’m fine with advancing the lore, but keep some integrity for it to hold on together.
But, could you agree if Naga was added and Naga Demon Hunter?

You mean like there was with death knights? So like Bolvar decided that we needed more death knights so all can be death knights now, lol. Well there’s a compelling lore reason if I’ve ever seen one
Or just the return of Illidan; wouldn’t have to be a Burning Legion thing, but rather ‘the coming shadow threat’. And to get the DH numbers up to snuff he’d let others join…
well if we care about lore then there shouldn’t be orc paladins either but it will happen. tho i don’t think they’ll make dh available to every race since it’s way more work than other classes
Skipping Demon forms from havoc and Vengeance would not make sense at all
so they need to design it until we can play them
that depends on blizz wants to explore the pantheon of fel energy like all primal forces in wow seem to have them. Dont forget that sargeras was a titan of order wich took a bunch of demons and then turned mortals into demons to destroy everything. We havent seen anything of the fel pantheon yet or the realm of fel. So all we need would be the titans and illidan getting freed
I think it could make sense for other Elf races to be DH’s.
That was a compelling reason for them to exist though, with Bolvar coming to the foreground again it made sense. With Bolvar out of the picture for now, it is unlikely we will see Dracthyr death knights for some time.
