Each character got gold limit cap so gold sellers are limited by 99.999 x 10 gold per account.
Now in case they operate on megaservers they can have 99.999 x50, great work Blizzard.

I did not know WoW semmed back to the 18th Century. And #NoChanges is the onlprotection when dealing with Blizz.
By the way, we shouldn’t call it “ruined economy”. Economies as we have them now is pretty much actual standard. If all economies are ruined, not a single one is ruined

And what about unobtainable legacy items (Tabard of the Protector etc.)? Or titles like champion of the Naaru?
People who start fresh will never have a chance to get these items in the new servers.
If you allow people to transfer to fresh realms later then should items/titles carry over? Haven’t seen any info about this anywhere. Seems kinda unfair to me.
There is a damn lot of things that will be unfair on Fresh. By playing on Fresh, you, out of your own free will, accept all those.
point is that there literally wouldnt be anything unfair if they just didn’t open the servers for transfers, which is what im hoping for

And don’t hope. They were very sepcific in NA answer, that they are 100% bringing transfers and boosts into Fresh. However, the 90 day date might be subject to change.
They did not say that they would 100% bring transfers to the servers. They said that:
After 90 days we’ll consider which of those restrictions should be extended, and for how much longer. It might make sense to keep all of them, or maybe only some of them.
In short, our intent is to keep the restrictions for as long as it feels like it makes sense, and for the time being we’re willing to commit to a 90-day minimum .
So basically if it does not make sense to open transfers to the fresh servers they won’t do so.
What you posted here is from EU blue post. However, in NA blue post they said this (note the bold part):

Would you buy a car if the salesman told you “it might break in 90 days, or 991 days, who knows. But as long as it doesn’t break by itself, we don’t have to push this button and blow it up remotely”?

Dear Blizzard, it’s time to start earning players trust back. Keep fresh wotlk servers fresh and don’t allow old → fresh transfers. Don’t allow boosts, they weren’t in the original classic and they don’t belong here.
You have a huge opportunity here, to do something good for a change. You would maybe make more money in the short term with these things but it would make players quit a lot faster and some would not even start with these 2 things looming in the future.
I saw a post detailing some of the reasons why you would open old → fresh transfers and one was “you might have a friend playing on these servers and want to transfer”, the amount of people who would fill this scenario for example, is extremely small. I’m having a hard time to imagine friends not starting together from the start if they want to play this. And at any case, this would be at the cost of the fresh server economy.
Please don’t allow boosts either, you know bots will run rampart and ruin the economy much faster. They still will exist without it but to a much lesser impact on the economy. More eyes during leveling to catch them and ban them, more time investment per bot.
Please Blizzard, start earning our trust back. Show us you can take a minor economic hit at the benefit of server health and player longevity (might actually be better long term, since people will play longer on healthy servers).

Your intent is noble, but you are actually saying “dont earn any money” to a profit company.
After long conversation with many friends we decided to not ever consider this BAD JOKE from Blizzard if character boost or transfer will be under ONE YEAR, or even better NO TRANFER/BOOST at all.
So dear Blizzard, I cant understand your limited knowledge about this game, there is only ONE REASON while players would leave their old chars and come to fresh one and that is to avoid most possible all these gold and items, accumulated on old realms by botters and gold sellers, we just want most possible fair game.
And YOU offer us new realms where will be boost/transfer alloved after only THREE months, sorry Blizzard, you need to find other enough stupid and limited players to accept your dumb ideas, not us !!!
ONE year at minimum or better decision to no transfer at all… or we are really not interested for new realm with duration of just 3 months.
You my dear Blizzard really think Classic’ players are so dumb to start there and enjoy in game for just 3 months??
We already spent enough nervs and time on your stupid plans, retail like changes and jokes with player’s community.
This silly idea is retarded too and need to be removed, we want Classic and not some semi hybrid retail game.
Go and do you experiments with gnome robots, fox-men and dragon-men in your ruined 3D shooter retail wow and leave MMORPG as it was, you are not able to do good RPG game anymore.

Do you even play the game? Players created mega realms, players decided a 5K pop realm is dead and now they don’t even want a 10K pop but will play on 15k-20k and complain about queue time.
People WANT boosted and botted wellfare. People do not want “low” pop realm where they would have to put the extra effort. People did not like the effort for consumables on SoM and will not move all of their guild, mains and alts to play on a “dead” fresh server.
People rolling on fresh are mostly those that just play fresh while it’s fresh and those that want to join for WoTLK and do not want easy start by using existing mega realms.
At minimum. If after 3 months you have 2K players on the realm then either they give free transfer out and let it die or they open it for transfers - and only transfers that could work are guild transfers so some incentives there needed.
On a fresh realm botters but also power users will roll and even without transfer and boosts you will have boosting and shady services offered to anyone interested. Don’t expect “fresh” will be some utopia free from any player induced degenerative gameplay.
Players created mega realms. If you don’t like it, don’t take it at Blizzard.
They may disallow public advertisement of boosting but it will just move to Discords and will be strong in-guild activity.
For real friends it’s true, for imaginary friends it’s false. If there will be a fresh mega realm everyone will suddenly have friends there. If it will be normal/low pop then no one will have friends there.
IMHO those should be on old realms and not new.

You are completely free to continue to play on old servers, to buy character boosts and gold but I am sure there is part of players who like legit and old style to play this game.
I need to ask you do you play game and do you understand playwrs base, mega servers exist only because Blizzard decided to completely ignore server imbalance so lower faction NEEDED to do paid transfer to some better place, mostly PvP players choosed Firemaw and players who like to do nerfed raids choosed Gehennas or Earthshaker depends of faction.
You can continue to enjoy your lovely GDKP runs on infested old servers but leave others who just want fair play to do their choice.

If you want “old style” then roll on low pop classic era realm. Any FRESH will be overrun on launch day and will never resemble anything “old style”.
Don’t worry you will have all of that on fresh realm as well. Although if you point out on GDKPS so much then likely you aren’t in even an average guild to do your weekly raids efficiently and without gold. If you rely on PUGs you will rely on it degenerative gameplay. And don’t then moan about GDKP when you are to lazy to put the effort.
