I propose to solve this problem in the following way - to make it possible for HC mode players to visit the BG and the Arena without dying “forever”, that is, in the open world the PVE and eternal death mode will be maintained, but players can visit the BG and the arena and die there, then return alive and return to your world unharmed.
    2.1 New Classic Arena. In the new version of the classic arena, I propose to give the opportunity to use a full arsenal of professions, such as alchemy and engineering, which will have a very positive effect on the pvp balance in the arena and will make the pvp game much more skill-based (demanding gaming skills close to e-sports), diverse, unpredictable and interesting. (on the panel you will need additional binds with different chemistry based on your opponent’s setup). Using professions in pvp will, in turn, have a positive effect on the game’s economy. (additional demand for resources and game time).
    2.2. 1x1 arena rating + solo queue.
    2.3. RBG (possibly in new forms (in new locations or 7x7 format))
    2.4. All of the above should be supported by special awards and titles for achievements.

  3. New system for eliminating bots. In addition to the already existing measures for the war against bots, I propose to introduce a very simple but effective solution to eliminate bots in the HC mode - wandering mobs - patrols. These are elite mobs like the Gammerita turtle in The Hinterlands, their movement speed should be low so as not to cause problems for ordinary players, but the HP level is very high, which will kill bots that get in their way. These patrol mobs won’t be needed for the quest or have valuable loot, but will kill bots all over the map without causing much trouble for regular players. They need to be entered almost throughout the map.

  4. New content in the form of populating empty locations along the coasts and in the sea (new world bosses, rare elites and farming spots, with a new special drop to improve pvp content).

  5. New items for pvp, such as a shield that reflects spells, a weapon that hits the cast and thereby reduces speed, various control effects or their removal. There is a lot of room for creativity here, but the logic of this innovation comes down to raising the skill cap in pvp and improving the balance. These items and recipes for them can be issued in the form of new content from point 4.

  6. The ability to stop gaining experience and corresponding achievement content.

I’ll try to back it up with arguments why the above will bring additional subscriptions for the Blizzard company and make the classics great again and bring everyone a lot of joy and happiness.

  1. This is a fresh server - a fresh server is always popular and guarantees an influx of audience. There hasn’t been a fresh server in Hardcore mode for a long time.
  2. This is not a seasonal, but a long-term server with the prospect of playing for many years, which will have a positive effect on the server population in the long term.
  3. This is hardcore, very popular among streamers as it is well suited for streaming content. But due to the emergence of SOD and other competitive versions of the game + the lack of pvp content after the end of the Mak’gora tournament led to a strong decrease in the popularity of official HC servers. The appearance of pvp content + the freshness of the server economy, the pve progress race, the pvp progress race, the achievement progress race, all this will make the game exciting for streaming in HC mode.
  4. The demand for pve content among pvp-oriented players and vice versa will increase the motivational component of players and at the same time does not force players to engage in both directions at the same time - you can be purely a pvp player and be successful and at the same time you can be only a pve player
  5. I don’t think it’s worth explaining about the impact on the economy of the absence of bots.
  6. The mandatory and, at the same time, high-skill required use of chemistry in the arena and battlefield will greatly increase the demand for basic reagents, which will have a positive effect on inflation and the economy of the server.
  7. The ability to stop experience will create twink content for BGs of levels 19-29-39. Maybe even a twink arena.
