Hello, i have question about wow classic, will it get new expansions later like many years ago , or it is different now ? Which version should i choose classic or wotlk ? ty

Currently there are several versions but with a subscription or gametime you get access to:
WoW Classic Era. This ls like how Vanilla in the past is, without expansions. In it is also:
- Hardcore. Any character that dies, is lost permanently on that realm version. You can still transfer for free to a Classic Era realm after your untimely death
- Season of Discovery. New and exciting Classic Era features, but yet not exactly the same. A temporary seasonal realm version.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic. This one will be moving to Cataclysm soon.
Retail WoW:
If you only have gametime/sub, your expansion level determines the amount of content you can unlock. That means Shadowlands. If you also have the Dragonflight expansion, you can play that too!
If you pre-order the next expansion, The War Within you get the current expansion Dragonflight for free.

Classic will not get any expansions, it will only include vanilla for the foreseeable future.
WOTLK will progress to Cata pre-patch on 30th April and full Cata on 20th May. You can start leveling now if you like the vanilla world, there is 50% experience buff. You can wait for Cata if you want to play rhe new races or a new race/class combo.
