Paladins…
Lore wise, they are a combination of warrior and priests.
So technically speaking, those races that have those 2 classes should in theory be able to be paladins as well.
But, that is not the case…
In the next expansion trailer video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSvLkzRt9fc ), at minute 1:28 to 1:30, we can clearly see a KulTiran male paladin boss fight from a 5-man dungeon.
Currently KulTirans can’t be paladins. (but they can be warriors and priests)
So then, is it safe to assume that Kul’tirans will be able to create the paladin class?
What other races will be able to become paladins?
In the character creation screen, all classes up to (and not including) paladins can be created with all races, even if those class/race combination is a bit weird lore wise, like say lightforged draenei and warlock, but it’s cool.
For example, I would love to create a Pandaren paladin.

The Tyr questline had other race paladins in it. I know some are dead set against changes like this for lore reasons but I’d love to be any race and be a paladin.

I’m a little surprised at how many players ask about this.
They already confirmed it to open up almost every race and class combination in the future, we just have to wait.

I mean… we can play warlock mag’har and warlock lightforged. Making sense with the combo race/class is not the priority for Blizzard anymore.
So you probably will be able to play other paladin races in the future.

As far as the direction WoW has been going there shouldin’t be any restriction or race and class combos.
Do I like it, no. But in time i belive all classes will be playable with all races. Evoker an exception though. Plausable to have DH being opened up to other races.
Lore rules can change though that is how a game can move forward and improve if a cow can be a paladin then i just cant see why other races cant
Sorry, not everyone checks forums and Blizzard updates like their lives depend on it.
For sure Night elves will have paladins
At this point all non heroic classes (with the obvious excpetion of DK) should be available to all races. Let people play how and what they wanna play, the lore was threw troughout the window long ago in that regard anyway.

Which has always been a dumb argument, since the player character isn’t some ordinary mook. Also for undeads… Scarlet have had undead paladins since Cata. And scourge since vanilla with the four horsemen.

Paladins will the second to last race that will be unlocked for everyone, due to the need for a palamount for every race.
The last one will be druid, due to forms… and shaman will probably third to last due to totems.
That ofc only when they plan of keeping DH elf only.

If we get any new paladins, it will be all races. There is a KT and a Nelf Paladin in the game. It is only a matter of time.
Don’t you mean pupperdin?

Those lore reasons, though, are mainly about what is currently set. The current rules.
The current rules used to be that Garrosh was alive and leader of the Horde, but that changed. The lore progressed.
I think the main issue for many recent changes is that the lore is disrespected as it changes. As in, the story progression isn’t good enough.
I’d hope to see a lot more care taken introducing Orc or Gnome Paladins than what we got with Warlocks.
I’d really want to see some more diversity in animations since not all races worship the light!
