I just realized (after not beeing logged into Retail for quite some time) that one of my servers are gone from the loggin roster, and with it something around 15 of my characters. They are also gone from armory. Is this the reason for my characters disapearance?
If you log into the server and they still arent showing, (always do that first), make a ticket, there has been a select few cases where some chars got acidentally deleted during the copying and blizzard will have to recover those characters manually. Its very rare though but it has happened and in those cases a ticket is the best course of action :).

No, itās not. Sort the realms into alphabetical order, find your realm and log into it. Your realm will be there, just not at the top where it used to be. Your characters should appear. If they donāt, create a new character on the realm (which you can later delete) to refresh the list. If they still donāt appear, do as JĆ„nek says and make a ticket.

Iām one of those unlucky players that had a character deleted. Iām into my third week awaiting an engineer/dev to recreate my characterā¦ Iām hoping itās sorted before pre-patch! Given the lack of realm connections this week, maybe theyāll sort them fingers crossed

I know there were alot of complaints on the Russian forums from the realms they connected last week as well.

Really odd that they didnāt announce any connections this week, at this point itās tuesday, they normally do them thursday, Iām starting to think they might skip them, which is weird considering the 2h maintenance is nowhere near enough for the pre patch (as a reason why they arenāt connecting realms this week) and thereās still so many realms that need connections, for reference according to my count there were 267 eu realms back in 2013 before the first round, and theyāve been reduced to 123 once they were done, and now we just went from 123 to 92, itās not a lot at all and some of the remaining realms are just as small as the ones that were connected.

Really disappointing there are no realm connection this week. 
Chamber of Aspects seems to have been forgotten. Nice.
As a guild weāre approaching 800 chars. As a realm weāre not doing as great

Patience, so far nothing indicates that they are done.
Thereās plenty of servers that havenāt gotten any attention yet.

True. However the prepatch surge is a great time to recruit, and Iād like to have a clear idea of our roster. Itās frankly authistic how they do things sometimes

Really tired of 2 realms i am on being low pop and connected to other low pop realms, game has been more or less like this since launch my servers feel rather dead both with war mode on or off if they screw this up im done with world of warcraft im not gonna let my self be treated like a cash cow and transfer 20+ characters just to be on a decently populated realm, they screw this up then i will be done for good.

Maybe itās a sign something else is happening soon.

Well we finally got a list for the US, its a pretty sad list though.
Itās only 2 connections total: 1 connection announced last week and delayed and an Oceanic connection which would get rid of the last really low pop OCE realms, both easily predictable.
More interesting is that there is no mention of future connections in the post, would be a pretty sad ending if this is the end. Also Saurfang isnāt transfer locked (at least not yet) which is interesting.

Yeah I noticed that aswell, they usually write that more connections are coming and this time they didnāt.
I wonder if late announcement is a cause here for this ālousyā post or they really slowing down.

Also, in a couple of weeks it will be 3 months since they began merges and theyāre far from over.
There are still like 50 ENGLISH servers are that low or very low on pop and we want to know what is the plan for SL. Do we stay on our realms or we transfer off?
Stormrage/Azuremyst has been dead for years and the fact that it wasnāt connected in the first group of servers suprises me.

They announced more for US this week, so i guess nothing for eu until next one.
what they announced for US very much feels like a gotta wrap it up fast cleanupā¦ there is no outstanding Connections in EU, but there is one in Taiwan that I assume will be done at the same time as the OCE connection.
I just hope theyāll leave alone Azjol-Nerub/Quel-Thelas. If I wanted a busy realm, Iād roll on Draenor/Silvermoon.

I agree, itās very weird, now remains to be seen how things go, but if they continue connecting (and itād be a real fail if they stopped here cause they took a few dead realms and increased their population significantly, some were even made FULL, and others are still dead, unconnected) your realm is definitely coming soon, itās according to raider io one of the 2 smallest english realms left, and raider io numbers were so far very good for predicting connections, they always seem to pick from the bottom of the barrel there.
