What the hell, at this point just revert it all back. Where’s the benefit in this new system anymore? Seems just like change just for the sake of change but lying to us that “it’s better” somehow.

Blizzard doesn’t want WoW to lag behind in monetization anymore, nothing to see here.
I hate it btw. The insane monetization of every fart in mmos is, while I tried a few throughout the years, the main reason I never stayed playing them for too long.

Will the new system “remember” our current transmogs? I’ve spent a lot of time making them and couldn’t remember all their items without making a spreadsheet.
Also, my main has about ten saved mogs and I swap between once a week for a fresh look. At 1000 gold cost per swap, it would take 800 weeks to break even under this new system. There is no saving.

what was the point of farming all the transmog in legion ? aint gonna give them a money if they want such system there is not point of having a subscribtion to play the game remove it if you have to pump up the items shop.

WoW has another 20 years planned ahead already, you will break even and up to that save some gold during next two decades 
The only issue and uknown are that I might as well be dead by then 
And up to that have much more flexibility and cost free mog swapping anytime you want.
If they go through with this one that is it for me thanks.
I will be deleting my account and walking away. Taking away features from PAYING CUSTOMERS to sell it back to them is 100% NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I have just counted how many situations I would have in my guild on one character only. And, I have not even counted all possible situations. And, I do not have 800k gold on my whole account altogether, lol.
Soldier guild:
- Full kit.
- Half kit.
- Full kit, without the helm. (E.g. briefing in line).
- Full kit, with backpack. (E.g. marching)
- Full kit, no shield. (E.g. ceremonies)
- Full kit, armour parts removed (E.g. the character is injured)
Other common role playing situations:
- Civlian - spring/autumn
- Civilian - winter
- Civlian - summer
- Beach
- Swimming
- Ball
- Ball - masquerade
- Brawl
- Sleeping
I don’t want to judge until I have tried out the system (I have no beta access), but it is possible that I will not touch this system altogether and just try to find a workaround for it. (Like mogging heirlooms and swapping them manually or farming the actual items and swapping them manually.)

The new system is absolutely trash, and just reveals they are after our gold and pushing us to buy more wow tokens.
How in heavens name can you make a system that was working worse, and fail to learn lessons from your competitors like FFXIV who removed all restrictions and have transmogging for free.

Sounds very worrying.
I have several alts of each class, the first thing I do when creating a char is put together 2-3 mog sets - and that’s for side characters.
My main characters (one for each class) have 15-20 sets I swap regularly and for some, the allowed 20 from the base UI aren’t even sufficient and I was relying on BetterWardrobe for more set slots. Was hoping for more slots to come with the transmogg rework…
I don’t even owe enough gold to afford the mog sets for a third of my characters… this is the first Midnight change that seriously threatens my future enjoyment ot the game. I hope this won’t go life or I’m misunderstanding something.

Same, I’ve been thinking of some workaround and the only one I can come up with is to just use only the free outfit slots but instead of having them saved just transmog over them each time we change looks like we do now. But on the other hand…
This problem arises - is the new system going to override our existing saved sets? I don’t play Beta, if anyone could answer this that would be great. Because if the new system deletes our old saves then that would make it as terrible as it can be.. If we at least can still have our already saved “looks” then we can just continue to transmog over the free slots. It would remove the convenience of having more easy swaps but it would reduce the cost.
