Yeah it’s completely bugged. You also can’t use raid frames in arena and the party frames routinely break if you try.
It’s an absolutely hideous mess. I freakin’ told them like 4 months back that they should focus on certain aspects and not just reskin it and implement scuffed MoveAnything then introduce a bunch of bugs, but guess what.

Right, so they would have logged into the PTR saw the new UI, and still would have made a similar thread like this one, so what’s your point exactly?
From the developer of ClassicUI -
ClassicUI not working in Dragonflight: wait for the update
In Dragonflight the interface has been completely changed. Such a big change makes the ClassicUI addon stop working, as a near-scratch rewrite is needed to bring the old interface back.
Some of the extra ClassicUI options still seem to work, but others need to be rewritten as well.
My intention is to keep this addon active in Dragonflight, but due to such a big interface change it needs a complete rewrite which will take a long time. The update will come one day, but it all depends on the free time you have available to develop it and how complicated it is. The update could take several weeks to be available, or even in the worst case, it could take more than a month.
TLDR: I’m working on the update, but it may take a long time. Please, be patient.

Statues are out of place and don’t fit at all. Also there are those small arrows you can press for zero reason to open up another bar. Needs option to be removed.
What the hell is this mobile development quality? They announced this 6-7 months ago and this is the end result?

Then untick bar art and the statues are gone?
Honestly, I thought they would’ve understood by now that this whole “let’s sacrifice everything that had tradition in the game for the sake of modernization” mentality doesn’t work. It ruined the lore, it ruined the gameplay and now it’s ruining the interface.
What I really loved about the old spell bar was that it reminded me of the slot places in old DOS games like Legend of Kyrandia where you could rotate a wooden shelf with all your spell ingredients. Such little features create atmosphere in a fantasy game and give it a soul. It aches me to see this artsy culture go down in order to create cold and impersonal design because it’s oh so “progressive”.

New UI is garbo. At first I didn’t mind it too much but I keep constantly running into issues that you can’t fix with Edit.
Like how selecting an equippable/useable item in bags forces action bars on top. I can’t use the rightmost row of my bags because of this.
Plz fix blizzard.

From where? And where does the extra bar go? It disappears…
This game is heading towards Cyberpunk 2077 with its mobile devs.
Btw those arrows look bad they don’t even have graphical layout. They are just text. It’s more annoying to click on, which itself is impressive.

good that you like it, people like me don’t. We’re not given any other options here. The bags look weird, some unchangeable UI is tiny and I can’t even display the little bit of art on the main bar without it blocking the other bars which I tried to set up like the old way. Not the “Classic” way but the actual way it was. I had 30 minutes or so to play a game before heading off and not being near my pc for a week… I was spending that time configuring the UI… next time I’m just gonna play a different game lol

There will always be people who can hardly adapt to new things, no matter how good those things are.
These things are not good. Its a MESS.

It is, it was, and it will stay bloody horrible.
You go ahead and like your ‘new’ UI.

Lfg icon at bottom right is hugely annoying and not movable also "mini"map no longer.
Well mog is horrible so I don’t know what kind of “RP” you’re playing. Perhaps the one in Goldshire 🫤
I like it. Dont see the problem.
this isnt my main, it’s an alt i like to just play around on. but nice baseless accusation though, really classy.
I used the default UI and bars for a long time now, all they had to do is implement the addon “Moveanything” to be native to the game. Instead they half-assed everything like they always do. I am now inclined to get at least 3 addons to fix the horrendous new shiny UI.
Just a few things: Minimap is no longer mini, but everything attached to it is, so mini that they are barely readable, also not customisable. Stance bar: this bar grows from right to the left for a reason totally unknown to me so it is wandering on my druid/rogue/paladin because the different number of spells and they get out of line, not a functionality problem but a serious eyesore I didn’t had to deal with before. XP/rep bar unmovable, i feel like that is just trolling from their part now…
Overall, I am all in for changes but leave the players the option to choose, and if they start implementing something, they should finish the development on such features before rolling out.

Feeling the same sadly. The new UI, especially the cast bar and character frame feel really alien in WoW setting.
Indeed… The old art and style didn’t need changing, it was already good. The very least there should be an option to set it back to the old UI.
Except you can’t set things as i want, because the UI has changed at a very fundamental level, especially the textures. The UI isn’t jsut about functionality, it’s about visual perception and user experience.
Indeed. The old UI textures had a character, of sorts, where as these new ones are just plain colors.
