I know you probably mean well but no, just not possible and I’ll leave it at that.
I just want everyone to see what I see too xD have as much fun.
But oofh… If vr really is just an absolute no. Then i respect that. I wont try to push you further.
You can’t.
Some people will simply get sick and vomit from 3D, regardless if they try to train their brain.
It works for some people, it doesn’t work for others.
Sadge… But I believe you guys. I mean I felt it too. I still do to some extent.
Its just sad allot of gamers wont ever experience vr because of motion sickness fear.
Id encourage you to at least try it out first. Before writing it off completely.
Also those of us that are visually impaired can’t use them either, like there isn’t a headset out there with lenses that work for my eyes or anyone else’s with the same condition as me so.
The new meta quest 3 has a function that lets you put the lenses in the headset further back. So that you can wear glasses and the headset at the same time.
Its a function I dont dare to touch xD but all the guides mentioned it.
You should make a vid of what it looks like and post a link here. My mind is going wild imagining what it must be like
Im helldiving into VR now everyone x)
I cant reply or see your replies for a while. But please have a good talk about everything.
What are your thoughts about VR being the next gen mmo? If at all? Do you think VR has potential? Could it even be the next big thing? What are your thoughts?
(PS. I can still see your replies if I open a vr browser… But I cant answer anything<.<)
Found this on you tube

Okey so one thing I can say about playing wow VR… is the scale of everything.
If you search warcraft on vr chat. You can explore stormwind in VR and elwyn forest. Much like this youtuber does. And just the scale of the forest… the scale of the city compared to your character… It’s something to behold
Uhm… it’s not really that exciting tbh, but sure, I’ll set it up again when I get around to it.
But where do I upload or capture the 3D footage so you can see it in 3D? I think YouTube had support at one point, but it was removed.
I thought you replied too me… I am so sorry Ishayo
Don’t stress found one on youtbue that Skullfox reposted for me - it’s hysterical watching that guy who has never played wow before test out the VR.
Hopefully its just youtube video upload limitations but the graphics quality looks terrible for VR. If this is the direction blizzard is taking they got some serious work ahead of themselves.
I didn’t see it anyway, dw about it
It looks fine in VR for me.
Anyway, by the far the best thing in VR is to go into first person and just walk through some places. Watching some of these locations with full stereoscopic vision is honestly amazing.
But 3D VR UI? Not that exciting. Interesting, sure, but not that exciting.
It seems this been done on private servers and not Blizzards servers, unless I have misunderstood.
Personally I think from a questing perspective it could be fun in VR but I seriously have my doubts about group content and how that would work out.
From the few vids I have watched none are actually experienced wow players and none showed any group content. I suspect its due to the fact it wont really work for raids and dungeons or pvp.
Edit: Ok so found one where the mention of group content would not work in VR mode which is why they wont show it. Graphics in this vid was much better.
VR is a gimmick, the novelty wears off pretty fast.
I dont want vr mmo tho. It works in shooters but mmo I prefer character on 3rd person view and not from eyes. I dont wish to play mmo looking from my characters eyes and only seeing my hands and so on. I prefer if cam is high in air and can see around me easily.
I don’t think so… truthfully… I have been a gamer since I was a kid. And honestly this experience is next level. I don’t know if i will ever use my gaming pc for anything else than vr in the future…
Everything just got allot more boring without the vr experience. But maybe I am just in the honeymoon phase. In love with vr.
It likely is pretty cool but, whilst I can’t speak for others, for myself it is that I don’t want a mask on my face for hours at a time.
