Nexus Crystals and currently available epics

Please can we get a confirmation whether epic drops from pre-phase 5 will DE into Nexus Crystals come phase 5, or if the items will DE into the mats available at time of drop (Shards etc).

To those who will reply with ‘yes it works like that’, i ask for confirmation of this please, to prove it, because i cannot find any official source of this anywhere.

If you want proof from people how exactly do you expect to get that? Noone knows yet as Blizzard hasn’t said yet and I wouldn’t expect them to say anything either.
