Hello, maybe this has been asked already , if so…redirect me there pls!
Do we get nexus from the epics we´ve saved?
Iirc no, we don’t.
I’m pretty sure we got Nexus Crystals from old loot that we disenchanted in vanilla.
If you replace an item that you got pre-AQ in MC with something you got in AQ I think you just got Nexus Crystals for the MC item when you disenchanted it.
I honestly doubt that the time of the drop was saved with the character (it was probably saved in the logs but not with the item itself) back then.
Nexus Crystals not in the game yet and yes they are from Classic.
They are on the PTR.
I think the question was, do you get Nexus Crystals when you disenchant epics that dropped before Nexus Crystals were patched in (phase 5).
Like this:
Epic item drops and gets looted
A few weeks later AQ patch hits
After AQ patch item gets disenchanted
And the question is, in that scenario, does it turn into Nexus Crystals or Large Brilliant Shards.
I think it will turn into Nexus Crystals.
People have reported on the PTR that you get them from older stuff.
Yes but other people said that the PTR stuff was generated on the PTR after where the phase 5 patch was already active.
I don’t think that that matters though.
Thats what i wanted to ask haha, my english is not as fluent as i thought what i wanted to state is that if we should save epics trashs from mc in order to get nexus crystals after the patch or if they will anyway…become large brilliant shards as they dropped before patch
For all we know, older epics from P1-P4 have a code for only giving LBS. While epics gathered after nexus is introduced will have Nexus coded in. Just my own speculation without any data to back it up.
Nobody knows for sure. But its not like you lose something if you just keep until then.
No one knows. PTR evidence is insufficient to say for sure. When you copy your char to PTR, who knows how your items are copied…?
all you can do is test it and see if you get one when patch drops
