That’s besides the point. The point was you are a night elf who was changed by the Nightwell and got infused with the Arcane. It don’t matter weather you work with night elves or not.

But what if one is born after the change? Our children are not taught to them, that they are “Night Elves.” They are the future Shal’dorei…the future Nightborne. Not Night Elves.

I never said all of them are Night elves. I said they are Night elves who were transformed by the Nightwell as in the old ones like Thalyssra or Lyleth. I know when they procreate they give birth to Nightborne babies.

We Nightborne, Priest pretty well…especially as Shadow Priests.
Combined Arcane, Lunar and Shadow Magic can do wonders.

And I must wonder where do the Night Borne faith comes from? Do you still Worship Elune?
I think the better question is, what is the Night Elf faith? I mean, many seemed salty about Elune and the whole, Teldrassil thing.
Nightborne just weave expert healing, shadow and arcane magic that night elves could have used…if they were willing to play nice.

The sisterhood of Elune not only weaves incredible healing, but fierce maidens as well that can match any frail Shaldorei in hand to hand combat or Wrathful moonlight !
So why couldn’t you simply defend Teldrassil, if your magic is so great? I mean, I was weaving similar magics to you and you never bested me. We went right in, burned the tree and…well, I…walked straight back out again.

Tree house is too sophisticated for Night elves ,i guess dev’s would have to make player “den ing” for them.

Customisations are looking good and detailed. Lots of extra options, good job so far. Hope it’s not over for anyone. But why no new faces though and so few body changes options for most races? We could really use things like
- Age slider (young/old would do)
- Expression slider (serene/snarly/arrogant) - this also alters idle pose [each race can have slight variations)
- Body size: e.g. ripped/normal/skinny -(night elves can have this because of DH and Nightborne models]
Trolls already have a bulkier model version used for Amani and Drakkari, humans do have a thin model - although that uses the forsaken skeleton instead - trimming down the musculature should be possible, although that might mean some serious gear adjustments.
Night elves can afford this because the Nightborne model has the thin versions of everything. However I was just imagining more ripped muscle definition and a slimmer trim down that might not require much gear reehashing. Or they can do it properly like they did for Night elves and trolls (via Nightborne and Amani/Drakkari) and just add them over time.
Face Overhaul:
Careful here, complete new faces are a lot of work, and while that’d be really appreciated I think it might be too much for laucnh.
However there are other things you can do with the current faces to give more variation that don’t require the extensive work of new faces
- Shape changes i.e. cheekbone (humans already get this)
- Age sliders - adds/removes wrinkles (same face just less/more wrinkled)
- Expression changes - content, serene, aggressive, arrogant smirk (should alter body idle pose too) - all faces already have expressions in animation.
- Eyebrow changes (Nelves have this already)
- Nose changes - many faces have noses you just can’t pick
Ofc there are many more things that can be added, like chin, forehead etc.
Regarding expression: Would be nice to be able to change your expression with a ‘/’ command and the changed expression alters the pose too or the pose alterantion can be exclusive to Character Creation/Barbershop

Night Elves:
Highborne arcane effects slider:
- Glowy hands
- Arcane glow tattoos
- Star decoration/glitter in hair as alternative to vines.
- Trim /neat options for eyebrows and beards (not sure why groomed beard disappeared, would like it back in addition to the trim version)
Blood Elves:
Farstrisder effects slider
- Body Tattoos with colours (like Alleria’s)
- Messier/wilder hair styles and beards (like Nelf new ones but their own versions)
- Scars (they added Lor’themar scars to night elves, but what about Belves?)
Trolls
Now not all the major troll options are in yet, so it’s hard to comment, I would however like
- More dreads and rasta styles
- Ear variations (like NElves got, make even more sense on trolls)
- Bone colour options
- Troll body size option (like the amani)

It’s the LFR version. There’s an npc outside the raid entrance where you can sign for LFR.

While this sounds amazing. They won’t add them. The customization options for each race is mostly done, the only races that are gonna get new options are the orcs and worgen. I doubt there’s more new options beyond the ones that they are adding sadly :-/
How many times…it’s a Mage feature in Blood Elf society, see Rommath’s.
Alleria isn’t a Blood Elf…she’s not part of blood elf life and she was never Ranger General.
Sylvanas and everyone after her, never had tattoos.
I get it - it doesn’t fit your headcanon, but learn2lore for the Blood Elves please, before making these comments.
Seeing Alleria has the same, I would think that implies it is not limited to mages. But could be any number of things, family, a clan, maybe clans that usually follow after the Farstrider tradition and Rommath just happened to be brilliant at spellcraft later.
They could make up anything they want.
We don’t know, you don’t know. We just have them on 2 elves, and I think they look cool, and fit more the hunter type than the mage type - but yeh they could work for both.
New customisations are bet off being accessible by many classes even though certain features are more common amongst certain classes. Let the player decide his lore. IF he wants to be a mage that has more hunter type appearance, then up to him, he can explain his appearance and lore.
You walk on these forums like you’re some sort of super authority, you are so opinionated on everything, which is sometimes helpful but also equally annoying.
You do come across as very judgey too, if something doesn’t fit your opinion or standard, you argue against it, like it can’t be that way, when it’s just your opinion. You’re not a developer, you’re not a CM, but you’re lording fellow players around, it gets irritating after a while.
