why can’t blizzard code so we can model our own faces much more detailed than this system we have today like its outdated.
Totally, but they can even do more with their current system.
Are wrinkle free faces that hard? Nightborne now have 15 faces, at the very least 3 of those NElf faces can lose their wrinkles
BUt if you ask me, you should have a toggle for wrinkled or smooth.
I think this theme would be perfect for night elven faces. As it fits the lore and racial theme.
I think that Night fae is inspired by the night elves heavily, and i think they should swing some of it’s themes back to them. Ideally ofc would be to somehow get a sylvar-night elf blend allied race and a forest like Arednweald tehre.
This always gets to me. I appreciate that resource management and all that.
But seriously, how hard is it to pretty up a face a little? or add star arcane tatoos like Tyrande’s seeing it’s already been done on a model?
Shouldn’t be hard to give us chiselled nelf male faces that do look nice and aren’t wrinkled. Even one straight nose?
The body of a male night elf looks tragicomic. Movements and animations are not much better. They really need to change/improve that.
It’s interesting how the zandalari model solves all the problems while being the same model, but the slight changes to neck posture which would go a long way aren’t made.
Never mind the excessive wrinkles and snarling. (At least the snarling has had some reparation, but not much, they are still scowling badly.)
Honestly I’d be happy if Night Elves would just get some actual proper beards and not this nonsense they still have.
The only proper beard is one covered in vines and thats about it. Same goes for the mustache, theres just one good looking one.
When you look at other MMORPGs, this is just unacceptable and lazy, especially under the consideration that they have two decades of art or even fan-concepts to fall back onto.
There are great ideas on various forums on what the body of a male night elf should look like, but I can’t post pictures here. It resembles the body of a nightborne, but is of course much larger and more muscular, in short: straight and longer neck, wider shoulders, wider chest with normal shape, longer abdomen and wider waist, thinner legs but straighter and more muscular, generally the whole body more defined. It looks really good.

Just not sure what the hestiation of doing some seriously long druid beards, it’s so cool… they did it for Malfurion’s model -it would look AWESOME on mage and ruid types, like a proper wizard, and they have the height for it.

I can’t post links nor pictures. It is certainly not difficult to find what I am talking about, there are so many topics and pictures about this. Some topis/pictures are even from 2014. Even then, people noticed that something was wrong with the model
