I don’t want to sound mean, but why only elf players push for more customization options?
I mean, it’s all good and all, but don’t you think all the races deserve to have extended range of the customization available to them?

Maybe because there are most players playing elves overall? SO pleasing majority will make more money so other lesser races that are not so popular can be funded to receive more customizations?

Law of averages. every race has issues, sometimes missing bits too. If there are more elf fans, and elf fans are more enthusiasitc you will get
- More issues talked about
- More missing things pointed out
- More requests and suggestions to improve
Hence you will see more topics and more replies to those topics than most others. It’s actually a good thing to have, and when blizzard respond, like they did with the Nightborne, look at how positive an impact it makes.
The thing is it’s the fans that play the races, it’s the fans that really get deep into the lore too, so it’s natural and good to listen to what htey’d like to see improved or added to their race, and blizzard must weigh this against what they want for the races plans they have and what they have already presented for them.
Fans usually show their reaction when they like things and when they do.
- Tyrande’s star toots in her avatar of Elune model and Night warrior model were universally liked by fans
- The night elf star and arcane power/culture is probably the area of them fans are most curious about to see more off, especially after seeing the kaldorei empire parts shown in Suramar with the Nightborne
- The night elf male wrinkly and snarly faces have been a displeasure to the few that actually play night elf males, for so popular a race, you got to beg the question why the male numbers are lower outside demon hunters and why no one chooses certain faces. When you dig up the forum posts on night elf males - ugly, old and snarly faces are one of hte big complaints
- The night elf neck posture has come up quite a bit too.
Why do they come up? because fans who care about these thing bother to make their opinions known, not all who care do write true, and it doesn’t mean that those who don’t write wouldn’t care or wouldn’t like the changes if made.
Whether you wrote or not, cared or not, when updates come that are nice, we all enjoy them, and they can cause you to like something a lot more which is a bonus, because when that happens, you play more, and subscribe longer too.
It is in their interests to listen closely to these. It is not to say they should only listen to fans, fans are inspired with the things they come up so with, so it is worth them doing more things and new things, but also doing the things fans usually discuss about, because fans will notice details you miss and would care more about things youmay not thing worth correcting, but to them it makes a huge difference and makes it much nice and attractive.
This pleases all, they are happy and thus paly and pay more, you the developer get your company to have more subs and increased revenue, boosting your value and allowing the project to carry on. if it si profitable, you have a job and likely bonusses and increases. It’s win win.

It’s a red faction elf thing, they just swarm on any topic blue faction players address improvements for (especially the ones for blue faction elves) and use their vocal majority to essentially criticise and trivialise all they say. Too few true blues or impartial neutrals around to answer the barrage.
I wonder if the devs are aware? or maybe it’s the devs doing this on their red toons

As much as I wish that was true… it’s not.
She just sent their spirits to the Shadowlands instead of the turning them into Wisps. She expected them all to go to Ardenweald as she was unaware that all souls were going to the Maw.
