Sounds like a wet dream for night elf enemy faction that hates them and wants them constantly in the worse possible position , fate, and fortune to keep em down.
Agreed, totally dumb, and definitely nothing any night elf or alliance fan would want. But then notice how horde elf fans donât want alliance ones getting anything they consider nice or valuable.
And think itâs fine the alliance is kept second rate to their âsuperiorâ (which is actually simply preferentially better developed /developer prefrentially treated)" faction and think itâs fine for the obvious number imbalances to grow, as long as they keep looking better than the other side.
Game population faction balance would go to pants if blizzard continue pissing on alliance races, funnelling cooler stuff to the horde especially things alliance fans like, but those horde elf fans they wonât care, as long as the horde is better - this is how totally lost in faction rivalry they are.
Solution: if you wanna get horde players back on to the alliance, develop things on the alliance that the horde players love the most, things the horde players like the most, but do it better on the alliance, cooler too, and theyâll move over.
Part of me suspects the vast majority of those things are actually things native to the alliance that were simply not developed well there, but instead done exceptionally well on the horde. blizzard simply need to do an even cooler version on the alliance of those things that hardcore majority horde fanbase like on the other faction.
I mean this is exactly what they did with blood elves and nightborne that caused so much migration to the extent now the horde reached a critical mass that now just keeps growing, maybe this might help the numbers a bit. while still providing cool things all round.

how about the horde helping to rebuild teldrasil⌠since it was them that burned it down and laughed as children burned alive.

Story wise, it is little consolation, what would excite me is if the night elves got badass, started using the Well of Eternity to rebuild and arm up, started using the Emerald Dream in addition to empower themselves through the remaining world tree, and we saw the night warrior capability enhancing more night elves. Gained their immortality back.
A badass group of Moonguard casters, Blackmoon night warriors, demon hunters, Sentinels and battle druids that basically everyone feared to come against because these ancients were serious now - and become the titanic race WC3 manual described they were.
If what happened causes night elves to improve, build an astounding new capital nicer than ZinâAzsahri, nicer than Suramar, healed their forests tooâŚ
This is the sort of thing that would make me happy. I mean the horde helping to rebuild Teldrassil is empty if night elves are still pretty much not progressing are still viewed as lame.
If Iâm frank, I donât really care what blood elves or nightborne do, they are horde matters now, I will call out horde elf fans though flooding negative comments against any alliance improvements and call out the hypocrisy and silly rivalry thatâs getting in the way of us improving things for each other. I donât hate horde fans and I am not against horde improvements at all, so it annoys me to see how jealous and uncooperative they get when alliance gets things or suggests things (not that alliance fans havenât been guilty of the same - tis overcomable human nature we can move past.
I do however understand some of it is just banter,.
- The best reward for night elves been humiliated so many time is for them to do the humiliation to their enemies
- The best reward for night elves having their civilization (in the sundering), their homes (in war of thorns) being destroyed is for them to get new ones better and nicer than all they have lost.
- The best reward for the last 15 years of showing night elves as crappy and rubbish is for them to have the next 15 years shown as incredible and amazing whether in combat or in assets.
- Point 1. This shouldnât be done making them aggressors, but showing them humiliate those who attack them and come against them. Let one night elf be a turning point in alliance battles - regardless of class, and show each one. Sometimes itâs a Moonguard legendary mage, sometimes itâs a Moon Priestesses, Sometimes itâs an Illidari Demon hunter, sometimes itâs a Sentinel, sometimes a Warden, Sometimes a Feral druid, sometimes a Balance druid, sometimes a Guardian druid but every time they are around they do something incredible that fits the legendary status. Itâs more powerful if itâs just one night elf amongst the alliance forces rather than a whole group.
- Point 2. You donât need to restore the kaldorei empire to show this at all, you can do this by giving them a really awesome capital better than anything night elves have done before (so nicer than ZinâAzshari or Suramar), add a restored smaller city or two, like Nartâhalas, a couple of forests too like Ashenvale and Valâsharah or Hyjal and Feralas, a few temples too., Black rook hold. You donât need to super develop night elves to rebuild the kaldorei empire - that just doesnât fit a race whoâs done all that before and is benevolent and highly intelligent - even if theyâre going tobe more aggressive now.
- Point 3. Just keep this up for the next 15 years, no more using night elves as the guinea pigs to show other races strong, now go out of your way to show them strong, so basically they for a change now are shown as really cool and really badass for 15 years to compensate for the crappy treatment of the last 15 years

If youâd played BfA and watched the cinematics youâd have seen -exactly- how enthused the Forsaken are with the Traitor Queen, when even her own weapon bearer and banner carrier looks at her with a kind of hurt âWhat the heck?â when Sylvanas goes all Chaotic Stupid and abandons the Horde. Now if that is a Forsaken, so one of her own people, who presumably carried her shivs and banner because she had earned trust, and even -she- looks with utter disgust at Sylvanasâ betrayal, that kind of does give the lie to what you state there.

I agree. We can but hope Sylvanas gets utterly obliterated, she is another character, like Jaina, and to a lesser extent Thrall, who has basically outstayed their narrative welcome.

I think part of the problem is that people just see it as Elves getting stuff, when in fact, theyâre not getting as much as people think. Take Nightborne. Youâd have thought every race would start off finished and looking like their race, right? Letâs say 10/10 like their race. so customisation increases that. Problem is, Nightborne started off with atrocious models. Like 5/10. Now letâs say that every other race got +5 to that score, so ended up as 15/10 like their race (They didnât, but lets say they did) The Nightborne also got +5 but that still just brought them up to 10/10, not 15/10 like everyone else. so really, their customisations made them look likeâŚwhat their models should have looked like, if Blizz had finished them, before releasing them. Theyâre not getting more than other races, theyâre actually getting updated to the level other races -had- before they also then got customisation.
Not the first time Blizz have done that, and not the last time. Anyone remember the S.E.L.F.I.E patch? âHey, how come Draenei and Blood Elves are getting new models and no one else is, thatâs unfair?â âUhh, because you all got your new models last patch and they didnât?â
Iâve got a revolutionary idea for you here. I know this sounds crazy, but here it is. Sometimes people play both factions but just post on one avatar. Crazy, right? Whatâs really going to bake your noodle is when I point out that sometimes, the improvements actually -do- deserve critique, and the thing with critique, is that it should be measured and weighed by what is said, not what colour someoneâs avatar is.
And sometimes it is because of statements like this, which make any complaints sound petulant and childish, rather than well considered and sensible. Of -Course- That is the reason! Itâs those Pesky Devâs posting on Horde characters to keep the Night Elves (Because it is always the poor Night Elves) down! Damn them! Thatâs clearly what it is!

Nah, it was a set of bad circumstances, Elune thought those souls would go to Ardenweald, and âHer sisterâ, and did not realise that the system was borked and that they were all going to the Maw, as you see in the dialogue between Tyrande possessed by Elune, and the Winter Queen (Coolest Covenant leader in Shadowlands, fight me! 
) This does interestingly mean that âGodsâ are not Omniscient. An Omniscient Deity would have known what happened to the souls of her dead followers.

About 16 years ago, and balanced things. 16 years ago. Not because they were âeven coolerâ, they were just âdifferentâ, and to be honest, one of the cooler things Blizz have done, they broke the standard Tolkein mould, and it -did- balance things.
I think you are -Vastly- overestimating the number of people who play Nightborne, which is a shame, because they are a real middle ground between the Kaldorei nature vibe with a small and relatively new (after 10,000 years) Arcane vibe, and the Hyper-Arcane Sinâdorei.
Thing is, Thatâs wanting to change the Kaldorei so that they can literally do everything.
Know what they call a hero who can do everything?
Superman. Who is -Boring- as hell.

Did you see any Horde laughing?
This is what I mean by trying to âwhitewashâ things over the forums. Say it enough times and people will believe it. No Horde laughed that day. Some were disgusted, some were astounded, even Sylvanas didnât laugh. Most felt like butchers, and in some cases, simply ashamed. Check out the unnamed Troll in the âTerror of Darkshoreâ cinematic. Does he look especially happy? Heâs whacked out, a PTSD victim, Heâs horrified at everything the War of Thorns turned out to be. Heâs figuratively clicking rosary beads, rocking and pleading with the Loa of Death not to take him that day.
Does he look like he was smiling and laughing? Did Anyone? No. Not Sylvanas, not even Nathanos, who could not believe the orders, and especially not Saurfang.
So tell me, where were these Horde soldiers laughing whilst children burned?
Let me give you another example. On these forums, you see it all the time âOhh, Horde wanted Nightborne and Blizzardâs âpet Factionâ get what they want, so Horde got Nightborne!â

No one on Horde asked for Nightborne at the time. I mean, theyâre cool, but no one asked for them. But some Alliance only Fans will repeat this mantra that there was some massive Horde swelling of opinion wanting Nightborne.
There wasnât. They forget, that some of us have played the game for a long time, and have a longer memory than a Goldfish. There was no such demand. No one even knew that Nightborne were on the table as an Allied Race to actually ask for!
But you listen to some of the loony, and loudest elements of the Alliance fanbase, (Iâm not saying they have a tendency to post from a certain Alliance race, but they do have a tendency to post from a certain Alliance race! 
) and they will say Horde got Nightborne because they kicked up a massive stink about getting them. Give it two years or so, and youâll actually get younger players -believing- it! Despite it never happening!
No one posting on Horde asked for Nightborne! Like I say, nice to have, but never asked for!
Two years, mark my words. People will start to actually believe it.

This is the most cringe thing iâve ever read in General Discussion, which is sad btw and nothing to be proud of.
If all you care about in this game is customizations why dont you create a instagramm account, follow some WoW fan art and learn how to draw what you want to see.
This way you can hang your pictures arround your room and be happy and us players who would like to get actuall content instead of these mimimi woke and graphics crap can finally get gameplay again.

Not really. The storyline has been pretty dumb since Battle of Dazarâalor.
Literally the most exciting thing to happen in WoW in a long was the first couple of patches of BFAs storyline⌠and they just threw it all away.
So no, I stopped playing attention to the storyline, the story just isnât that interesting anymore.
basically horde and alliance are at peace. we agreed to work together and had multiple peace meetings and theres alot of talk of no more faction war and cross faction raids and dungeons being a thing.
1. Main Problem with NElf Male Faces is Too many Wrinkled
All but 1 is terribly wrinkled. The excessive snarling was not good , admitted, but that is NOT the biggest problem blizz⌠the biggest problem is the WRINKLES.
All but face 1 is super wrinkled, and therfore largely unappealling, most will pick face1, and rest will struggle for everything else. Need de-wrinled versions of at least 3. The most wrinkled once by 9.2 PTR numbers are 3, 4, 12,

We need wrinkle free versions of Face 3, Face 4 and new Face 12 I would suggest as a minmum.
This will greatly improve the selection value of Night elf male faces. The other faces while not too bad, are still all wrinkled, so we need at least 4 good non-wrinkled faces to choose from.
A better alternative would be to do wrinkle free versions of all 11 faces, and have a tick box that would load the wrinkle versions for those who want them.

2. Character Creation vs Selection Screen Discrepancy
The lighting on the character in character selection makes the night elves look worse (imo) because itâs so low, and it makes them look different to most of the lighting you get when you play them in game.
I know this was changed in 6.0 when Kalimdor was darkened at night, which is fine, but CC has always been weird for Night elves ore so than any other character.

These 3 faces are the biggest culprits of wrinkle old man syndrome, especially number 4
3 smooth faced versions of these will bring the face type tally to 15, and of these 4 will look young, 7 look normal/aging adult, and 4 look old
