Night Elves Heritage Armor

Blizzard on Blizzcone told that:

"No specific plans to use the original Night Elf armor, now worn by many elven NPCs in Darkshore, for Heritage Armor—but if people respond well to a piece of armor, then Blizzard can take that as a starting point for later designs reminiscent of it."

So let's vote!

- I vote for archers armor from the War of the Thorns, with a little bit more 3d modification.

yeah sorry to the old lore but screw the old stuff; scantily clad night elves ftw
I saw an amazing armor on some sentinels in the new warfront, which isn't avaible as set yet. Maybe it will be the heritage armor of the night elves. The darkshore armor looks more for sth. like... Goldshire?
That set would certainly increase Night Elven population... in Goldshire.
If they don't wanna use that, I'd at least like them to keep the ornament style of it. I also think doused purple and silver should be a part of the apperance. At least silver. I don't wanna look like a rainbow clown, which I'd feel like if we got anything like Kasparian's armor(which has been suggested by people before).

It is also really important to me that there is a tunic AND a robe version.
I vote for Darkshore sentinel armor too! But there should be no modifications, it should stay exactly as it is.

Its the same armor we've seen in the first WoW trailer back then. The only reason I love it is because its completely lore friendly, I swear!
As much as it screams "Night Elf", I'd much rather have a toned down "Huntress Casperian" sort of set, with some Moon symbolisms. Something that catches a Sentinel/Priestess/Druidic sort of thing which is what I love the most about the Kaldorei.

Base the cloth one on the mage one the night elven suramar casters were using in the suramar video - that looked quite nice. Although i wouldn't say no to Tyrande's current cloth armor - but without the high heels.

Kaldorei cloth armor should always be reflective of their Priesthood, not their Mage-side.

This character still looks like a Highborne without reflective heritage armor, but the Night Elf Priests deserve far more loving, since night elf priest is a classic wow race/class combo.

I think they should design heritage armor based on armor type.

For e.g. the hunter one in WoT - should be the mail armor version
Different ones for cloth, leather and mail - i don't like the darkshore warfront cloth and leather sets though.

I think they should base it on role, not armor type. Because every single time they base items on armor type, my CASTER/HEALER end up looking like a melee. I am extremely tired of this. I'm a druid, I wear robes. Blizzard always designed a large majority of the druid tier sets with robes/kilts, yet once they started basing apperance on armor type, druids lost their entire apperance based identity. The robes and kilts are completely gone.

And the cloth Darkshore set looks like a perfect druid set. Oh wait, I can't wear it, because I wear leather, so my caster identity is worthless and I should be stuck with pants and tunics by the new philosophy.

To the designers...; Thanks for giving mages, warlocks and priest what looks like a perfect nightelf druid tier set, going by your own previous design ideas. What happened?

I'm dreading the thought of my heritage armor now, because I have have a feeling I'm will be greatly disappointed. If anything, I wish they just tweaked the Darkshore archer set to make it less revealing. It's a really good base for a great and unique set with a lot of nightelven identity tied to it.
I'd rather have this: https://i.redd.it/7ha8hd6y6zi11.jpg

Just personal preference.
Please I was hoping for finally getting Ironforge guard armor when they announced dwarf heritage armor so you can imagine how disappointed I was because the humans have their guard armor... I mean the dwarf heritage armor is great but cmon who wasn't thinking about Ironforge dwarf armor as heritage... BE got pretty similar one to the guards...
The best we can hope for is what they are doing with the Blood Elven heritage armor - where we have a robe version and tunic version.

The robe version should give off a strong Priestess/Druidic stance and the tunic should give a very Warden/Sentinel vibe.

not guards Spellbreaker, their iconic unit from bc. and its plenty differnet from guards but those guards are aslo spellbreakers.

Its a moden version of wc3spellbreaker amor not the guard armor.

not role, just like its now moggable by evryone of that race that has unlcoekd no matter class or armor type.
its a racial armor all should be able to use it.

Multiple heritage armors sure, aslong theyre moggable by all classes again theme may not fit all for evry heritage but none of the heritage armors 100% fit evry class.

As long as I get a caster and a melee version I'm gonna be happy(to me caster = robes, melee = tunics). How they solve it is irrelevant to me, I'm just tired of seeing all new armor I get access to, go totally against my decade long established class identity. I am genuinly extremely upset and frustrated by this.

Well the OP armor suggestion is little more than a loin cloth. Not exactly armor, in any sense =P

I can agree on this really, though I am fine with what we actually got. My dwarf is a warrior though. I would never equip a priest with that.

The Blood Elf armor seems very reminiscent of Blood Knights. Both the tunic and robe version gives off a very "plate" armor vibe.

it makes sense for agility and druids being shapeshifters and theyre in woods and tree's such armor makes lot more sense then most armors escpialyl mail/plate.
