Anyway, whatever armor Night Elves get, I really hope it is something that actually qualifies as armor, not a bulleyes as to where to hit.

Well I hope for:

1. This armor should scream that its Night Elves armor (some NE styles like on arts).
2. This armor should be lightweight. This armors should not be Viking heavy plate.
3. This armor should be beautiful, making me want to get it.
4. This armor should be unique. There should be no recolored peace of gear like that in game.

- those players sets from Darshores Warfront will be available for all races. This those sets will not do.

- will do. But ofcourse it should be finished. For example feathers on the boots are not 3d....

That sounds rather biased, especially towards males and their mages, they really should go with what looks best. I like both.. I would say do the females should get a priest looking one, and the males get the highborne mage one, players can choose between themselves whatever they like best.

I can't imagine playing a Moon priestess as a male night elf to be honest (no offense to those who do), but then i could definitely do a male highborne mage - if only the casting animations were nicer.


Priests > Mages in Night Elf society.

It always should be.

But we know it won't happen, so the heritage armor should have a tunic and robe look.

The fact the implication is that the decision on what night elf armor should be is up in the air, is disconcerting.

The one you linked is the ONLY true heritage armor for night elves. It's a classic.

So chances are they will run with something else entirely because pissing off night elf fans seems to be a major hobby for Blizz.

The Night elves need to have some special Heritage Armor ..

Maybe something new combined with the old from the guards ..

Why so unrelaxed, nelf have always shown a lot of skin regardless if male or female.

It's not a problem as long as there are plenty of options to completely cover up your character with stylish sets, and there are.

Set of Armor linked by OP would even lose 90% kinkyness by putting a tabard on. =D

blizzard doesnt care about alliance or night elves. soon the will just delete all alliance races and faction change us all to orcs

I really hope, that we doesn't get the Darkshore skin. We all know that this armor will be abused for Erp. I can't support that. I want a wonderful Armor, not a wunderful outfit from the erotic shop. Night Elves are more as just wanking material!

I love this armor set and they should absolutely add it in the game, but I don't think it should be their heritage armor.

So can orcs, but they, they aren't sexy, so it's not a problem when they dress impractical, right?

Well, he still got more armor on then the night elf archers.

Edit: also never said night elfs should not get it, just that the logic behind armors like that = picture.

I'm fine with any look aslong they keep the tribal/ornament look.
Scantly clad as war of thorns or more like sister of the moon boss in legion a little more armor.
Aslong as it's not stormwind/humanesque armor or like the ones shown in bfa intro those spellcasting NE looked like they lived among humans too long.
Maybe similar to BE's who offer to versions offer one that is more tribal and one more clothed highborne?

It's magical fantasy world. 390 cloth bracer gives more armor then 60lvl full knight plate set with shield.
