I think Blizzard has forgotten their flagship feature they promised us.
No, not islands. No not even the heart of azeroth.
I’m talking about the Nightborne.
If you’ve created one or seen a few up-close, it’s pretty obvious they aren’t shipped finished.
-Their models are closer to Nightelf than they are to actual almost entirely working Nightborn NPCs
-Their character creating options are drastically restricting and few in number.
-Their facial features lack even the slightest hint of effort as not even their earrings/piercings has tints like. (Not even going into the fact that most of the faces look withered and there’s two maybe that looks healthy)
-Their own Herritage armor. A transmog that should be vore by 1 race. CLIPS. The belt clips into the robe both on male and female.
-Many expected and wanted their armor to be skin revealing, letting players see their tattoos that makes them unique. There isn’t an option for shorts instead of long kilts, and the males are even more covered up than the females, only letting show tattoos on their faces.
-Said tattoos are barely visible, requires an angle to be seen clearly.
-The emote animations are horrible at places, are we supposed to believe this high-brow noble race dances during clapping?
-Their eyes aren’t squinted. I don’t know if I should call it racism but they couldn’t even got their eyes right.
What happened is a massive shame. Seeing that the red-tinted armor isn’t available while Draenor orcs able to get theirs, having 3. I said 3 skin color options as all other races has at least twice as many. If not TRICE. This is truly a half finished product and it deserves more attention and care.
SIlver AND gold metal plating, metal beards as a custom option not attached to a mog piece, more faces… yes there is certainly work to be done for sure.
Also you mentioned draenor orcs, fun (saddening…) fact there; the harness on a Male, is still a freaking bra. And as of this patch, they’ve apparently worsened the look of the female harness, but left the Male glitch in place.
these horde players have gotten the best races in-game (high elves and nightborne) and they complain about cosmetic skins and beards, are you serious right now? -.-
lightforged draenei – white glow and extra tatoos. literally no difference if youre a plate user (helmet covers everything)
Im glad you pointed this out because its been bugging me ever since they became available …
I want to create a Nightborne who looks like the small group of Nightborne in front of the motherlode entrance
If I’m not mistaken, one of the hair color options for Nightborne has been changed from white with blue undertones, to blonde. But ain’t getting no squinty eyes, as SO many people (including myself) have been requesting since the race became playable. The Nightborne are pretty dope, but their playable model looks atrocious.
When people screenshot Nightborne blinking, joking with it, having their eyes squinted and actually looking good, makes you think what stops them from implementing such simple thing.
Why should we? The criticism is valid and far less tiring than the many thousand high elf threads. On the topic. Just give us the legion models and all will be fine.
I agree entirely agree with the topic at hand.
Nightborne and LF Draenei got the short end of the stick, for sure.
I can’t believe how LF Draenei have 5 hair colour options, 4 of them being white and the other one being…blonde. I remembered seeing a darker hair option for them on the PTR, but for some reason it wasn’t included in the game. Oh, the same can be said for the skin colour options also.
Come on, man. I know faction pride is a thing in game, but right here, we are all customers. Factions don’t mean anything as long as we’re getting poor quality products in a game that we are paying a monthly subscription for!
This is the thing that annoys me most about WoW, the character creation screen. I still can’t believe how bad it is and we talking about the #1 MMORPG heading into 2019.
i think apreciating what the favourite developer faction gets is something the spoiled hordies have got to do before asking for more
worgens and goblins received an update after 10 years or something, and goblins are better since worgen armour is kinda useless at times as the fur breaks the looks
LD is an entirely different matter of lazyness. They could’ve take a lot of vanilla Draenei options and slap them on. Just because I’m a hur-dur Horde scum, it doesn’t means I neglect the fact they are lackluster aswell.
