No,both sides and evry race should have race themed glyphs for their class.
Escpially palladins and priests.
Since theyre very different for each race bu bundeld under 1class for gamplay and balance reasons.
Not the light,Elune.
and theyve been doing it for ages it 100% makes sense.
The light would just be gameplay reasons.
I agree with everything you said about the race / class combos that should become playable.
Except Iâm not so sure on the Blood Elf Druids, simply because weâre the most popular race and we can already be pretty much every class, I think weâd be going too far if Shaman or Druid was open to us.
Since the Nightborne ââDruidsââ would be the same logic as Blood Elf ââDruidsââ (Botanists), that kinda invalidates them too.
Iâm more of the opinion that Pandaren Druid is debatable.
I forgot Panda druid >.>.
My belf/NB druid was more example of something people hate for making not that much sense but are totally fine with like golbin shamans even though makes way less sense or tauren pallies being sun druids.
(botanists are thing ,and classes are exactly as are in gameplay in lore) and is arcane spec for druids in Balance)
Also i think evry race should be able to be basicly any class but with proper glyphs aviable for them to make it actully race themed(so can have holy dps for priest for lightforged,or shadow heals for void elves, silver light effects for nelf pallies/priests).
And factions should be like aldor and scyers and in pve any race can always group together and be in guild together. basicly have players not tied to cetain faction(s) and be mercenaries.
And factions are flavour/cosmetic/pvp reasons more instead of limiting who can play with. ANd aslo allows for ally and horde to have big(ger) impacts as players arent tied to it anymore.
but thats kinda off topic.
world of hordecraft run by horde fanbois will add undead paladins before they add night elf paladins and then joke about it on blizzcon
Oh I understand, sure they open some exceptions for some combos but not for others, I think it has to do with ââthis race gotta have 1 more class, but this one here is already way too popular and has many classesââ.
This is actually I really cool ideia I wouldnât mind at all, it would be fun for sure.
Also could use more class customisation(adn in general aswell).
Like mages can have runic tatoos/markings over their body(like one of the characters from full metal alchemist has transmutation circle for flame alchemy on her back,or mustang who carves it in his hand in one of episodes so he can use it think like that).
Tomes for palladins/priests.
Quivers for hunters or special arrows/bullets (like ilusions but on the spell effect self).
Feathers ,fur and such like malf has for druids(but lesser extent)light green glow around them for emreald dream connection, thorns/leaves growing on them and what not.
or warlocks having cracks in skin, having that fell aura around them, having fell seep from their body in general.
Warriors maybe can have their racial symbol as tatoo for them(but tatoos in general should be a option for all aswell). or having like openwound options. Like scars options but that have bit of red hue to them.
Shamans can have one of elementals(or all) circle around them from time to time.
Paladins donât use green light, they use yellow
Ingame yes, but belfs arent palladins theyre blood knights, draenei are vindicators, tauren are sun druids, zandalari get power of their loa. Night elfs have elune
Only actual palladins are humans and dwarves the rest are only palladin cause gameplay/balance reasons.
Nelf palladins 100% make sense in the lore. Palladin would just be closest ingame class to what they represent.
(in lore classes/specs arent anywhere near as strict as are in the game with many having stuff from many different classes)
Also theyd have silverly light not yellow.
And each race should have their racial glyphs for palladins/priests are for each race(outside human adn dwarves being same) as pretty different in what exactly are/do and where they get powers from.
Itâs as wrong as giving Nelfs dresses and making them priests
Nature and Holy is 2 different schools
If you go to school and learn english then you canât speak greek
I loved everything you said since everyone could train every race to be every class except demon hunters cause illidan is gone but we have a lich king for example and race class customization would be an awesome way to bring more diversity (for those who argue ppl wouldnt see what class they are in like pvp just open your eyes :D) class race based tier sets would also be way cooler with fitting weapons (looks awkward if u place the void elf heritage on a warrior)
Donât the Zandalari already have their own demon hunters, like maybe not alive in the present but I remember hearing they did a thing weâre they summoned demons directly into their bodies and harnessed their energy or something
Retconned out of the existence apparently, for no reasonâŠ
Honestly one of Zandalaris traits should have been the ability to be all classes since they are the oldest civilzation on Azeroth and have a presence wherever the other troll tribes are and thus documenting/learning about most professions throughout the world.
Sentinels.
Void Elves blow every argument on keeping things away from players based on numbers out of the waterâŠ
Void Elves are shown in the game as frontline fighters, they die in combat just like every other raceâŠ
Their numbers are most likely measured in the low dozens at best.
Yet they are a whole playable raceâŠ
While Night Elf paladins would only be a class/race combo.
Yes ! I wanna kill Horde with the fury of Elune !
What? The religion of the Night Elves is the worship of Elune, and the religious leaders are priests and priestesses.
Sure, their culture has druidic aspects, but they donât worship nature. They just seek to live in harmony with it, not abuse it or exploit it.
Gotta love how the night elf fanatics are always grumpy that humans are the one on the spotlight and how everything revolves around them, yet they want the most iconic human classâŠ
I donât usually defend the Night Elves, butâŠ
Thereâs no such thing as ââHuman classââ or whatever other race class. Specially when Draenei Paladins were there before Human Paladins if weâre gonna talk about that.
Additionally, Night Elf Paladins wouldnât be the same theme, although theyâd be the same class.
Like it or not paladins are the most iconic human class since warcraft 2 long before the whole draenei idea ever came.
