BoE - Bind on Equip = tradeable - BoP - Bind on Pick-Up = untradeable.
Though some players will need on all greens and Blues for DE or simple vendor value
BoE with high stats can be very valuable pre-raid for levelling alts also .

Must be a PvP server thing, I did probably over a hundred dungeon runs while gearing on Thunderstrike and I have’t encountered a single instance of obvious ninja looting. Not once. Worst I’ve seen is people rolling need for offspec and only asking if it’s okay afterwards.
it’s on thunderstrike, I haven’t experienced it either since the launch, but today 2 ninja loots, hopefully just a bad day, I don’t want late game dungeons to turn into this, first time playing classic I really want to experience max level dungeons and raids without dumb things like this.
First priest takes the attack power ring for fun and then druid takes the plate legs and says he didn’t see it’s plate… I don’t mind grinding or farming for the items I need, but when I get the chance to get them I don’t want it to be stolen by someone who can’t/doesn’t even use it just because they can.

And the fact you can’t trade BoP items like you could in heroic dungeons in TBC and Wrath is really detrimental imo. It would hurt absolutely nothing, has a precedent and would solve your legs situation. Alas, classic andies.
I’d suggest a small adjustment to the ignoring feature. Should i ignore a player on my server, i should have a notification or warning if i’m in a same group with this ignored player or i’m trying to buy this persons item on the auction house.
This would be the only way to make sure you won’t see these greedy people ever again.
Ps. If there’s an addon that does this, let me know.

Put up the loot rules next time when u are going after a certain item and make sure every1 agrees to them, yeah, that sucks but later on u will see that when people are going for “bis” items armor type doesnt matter to some classes/speccs, thx to blizzard obviously. And after reading further into the thread dont go down that path for “needing stuff u dont need for jokes and giggles” it will affect ur reputation in classic very fast since there are only 3 realms. yea putting up rules sounds good, I am new to classic so I didn’t think the rules need to be made for obvious things, thanks for the advice!
