Not only do you have to farm the neck and gear on every character now - you also have to farm every single essence you need without any catchup mechanics.

Only purpose I have found. But it was too much afk, too boring way of playing for me, so now they are at their draenor base, safe from an old God infestation.

Sadly we believe not many will because I think the game is for veterans only because I heared alot of BFA players complained it’s not for them so you are right.
Actually if you like alts you will.
Seeing how levelling is much more enjoyable and rewarding, class quests and every class having unique roles I’d say vanilla wow has a much more enjoyable “replay”.
Essences should be account wide but isn’t the default one the best for most specs anyway? It is for my alts at least.

Not true.
Classic advocates for casuals much more than BfA.
The only turn off I can really see is the graphics.
Journey offers much more ways to have fun there than trade goods farm for raiding imo.
In 2-3 weeks it will be no problem to reach HoA55 and you can easily get the M+ rank2 essence.
So atleast as DPS it pretty easy to get a good ST and a strong AoE essence.
I wouldnt mind that they killed of alts. Theres way too many of them in the current game. Lets go back to 1 main 1 alt pls
When everyone “decent” will be 430++ with r3 traits?

But since you wanted to look smart… i want essences to be boa. I have played classic back then so i know what a grind it was. Since i know what a grind it was i am not going to play classic at all when it will be re-released.

I’m just saying that some decent essences are faster to get than a good weapon for example.
Most essences don’t get a ultimate massive boost in rank3.
Also most people will still have only 2 slots in a few weeks. Even now there are many who haven’t unlocked the 2nd yet.
Yeah, not everyone will invite you but I would bet it’s more because of wrong class or low ilvl and not that you only have r2 essences

I dont like the fact that the r1 pvpers have 4-5 of the excact same char. Same faction, same class, same race and same spec. These guys take up so many r1 and glad slots. And ultimately scares away r1 duelists cus they need to beat r1s to push rating.

In season 2 I could do 18k dps on my 378 KT shammy and got invited for m+10 just for the Rio and be relevant.
In this beguiling meta you will be a real anchor to a group imo.
It’s not just AOE fiesta, I predict that 1,5 Rio in s2 is like 10 dungeons m+11 in time in this one. And gear/right essences are very very relevant.
How do they manage to get 4-5 characters into the 0.1% of people to get to the top.
That seems like a lot of work. Or does the rating get shared or something?
