No alts allowed in S3

Not only do you have to farm the neck and gear on every character now - you also have to farm every single essence you need without any catchup mechanics. Guess they finally killed off alts

Azerite essences needs to be unlocked account-wide

For people that play multiple classes, having to farm Azerite on every character is already tedious and crappy, but now, we also have to farm and unlock essences on EVERY character, damn it blizzard, some people have lives and don’t have the time to do this kind of grind…

Essences and alts?

I like the new essence system like i liked the artifact system, but there is a problem with it, alts, for artifacts, the power could have been split between all the specs so if you wanted to switch spec it would have been far easier, with the new essence, there is a slightly different but just as bad if not worse problem, which is, why aren’t essences account bound? Do i seriously have to grind them on all of my characters to have some fun with my alts? Are we gonna repeat the same mistakes of …

So is 8.2 now an even bigger grind fest and the most alt unfriendly patch ever?

Seeing those essences and how mandatory they are and how to get them i see 8.2 turning into an even bigger grind fest. My wife is a die hard pve player and her bis essence is only obtainable via pvp which just annoys her beyond belief. Also… i guess those essences are character specific? So if i want to be competetive with my alt locks i have to do all this stuff again on them? I mean, after they turned 120 and i got some basic gear i never ever entered an m+ with them ever again. I won’t play at all unless they make essences account wide. I just can’t stick to one character, it’s just too boring.
