I find it very annoying that I can’t check out my friends’ characters on armory. Why have you made the decision to disable this?

Loool just do inconvenient thing when already existing but disabled more convenient option exists.
Erm… I think you are missing the point.
Honestly I’m one of the players that stopped playing during TBC, so I have never used a lot of the what you call them “convenient things”.
And the lack of these, actually made me chase people around in the cities, talk to them and admire their gear. Meeting in person seems to have more value the vanilla way.
If you want convenience - they have a separate game for that. This is classic, convenience is not part of it - and to be honest that is part of the charm

Personnally when i meet someone i dont check his facebook page + ask him for his CV , same in wow u just ask what they did not check if they did the last Mythic+ content and got the last ilevel

Ye, I think it was introduced around 2007
It wasn’t ready for launch, but may be coming in the future.
At the moment you can look people up if you type in the url yourself (edit the server and char name using the example below) but they are just a silhouette and it gives no gear, just name, guild and level
This is my Classic Char for example

Well atleast they included “ilvl” good thing they are focusing on getting what important first 
guess it’s being worked on - but item level they can remove as far as I care

because it simply it is not needed.
Blizz should introduce Armory as a feature but the only people allowed access must have minimum 5.8k gs.
