who the F care about who is able to get ranks by sitting in AV killing a PvE boss 8hours a day?
I’m a PvPer, i need the gear to PvP, not to use it as a springboard to enter raids

No Honor Loss give you the opportunity to rank multiple classes at the same time.
Currently we are obliged to rank a single class during few months by spamming AV, it’s stupid, i like to play other class sometimes but it’s impossible if we lose honor
You can no longer derank with the new honor system. Only via dishonorable kills.
I think he means they should take off the threshold system.
Right now if we say you need rank 13 to 14 and its 500k for first threshold and second is 1 million. Then you still need get 50 hours pvp per week(if avreage is 10k/h)
If you only managed to get 450k. Bad luck you loose everything and go back to 0 honor.

I guess this hard barrier will keep those R14 titles at least a bit less inflated. On top of that: Rank14 gear is equal too AQ40 gear. So you’e not in a hurry to get it.

So when you speak for Era…i would agree to some extent. But for fresh classic they should keep the barrier up.
the goal of FRESH is to go to TBC so it will be different, ranking lose value when TBC release, ranking will be less important
I would agree if the amount of honor needed overall would still be the same. You can’t just give away r14 gear to people when it’s very hard to get a bis weapon for a melee, with 20 ppl who need it. And it drops only few pieces of gear
people are sitting 8hours a day in AV to get it already…
i’m talking about No Honor Loss, that way we can take our time instead of spamming AV 8hours a day, that way we can rank in AB and WSG too even if it takes more time

Are you talking about era? If so, fresh releases today.
If you talk about SoD, nobody is doing AV. Getting 500k honor in SoD takes 2-3 days in WSG and AB
If you really want R14 - just get a premade. r14 is never and should be never a freebe.
It’s x10 time easer than the previous version, just play in a premade

currently R14 is about who can sit in AV 8hours a day while watching netflix, this is not good gameplay

still gotta farm it, but without sacrifice your lifetime 8hours a day for a whole month in AV killing a PvE boss in cycle
With No honor loss, you can go with 1-2hours a day. slowlier but you get in long term
