No new delves in 11.2

I really feel like we are going around in circles… You seem to purposefully cut my sentences and just pick up half of it to use the same repeat argument that I then reply with the same answer.

And to quote you once again:

Like can you please make up your mind? Either casuals are define by HOURS PLAYED or WHAT they play… Because it can’t be both… And you seem to switch between the two when it suits you.

So a Hardcore player… Meaning Delves were not meant for casuals, but for players. good we agree

I will repeat again… To meaningful progression. Again you left it out. Easy mistake to make for the 10th time

Yes, so you say. Again, what are any of these stories that we’ll seemingly be getting more of?

Maybe it’s me who hasn’t paid much attention, but story seems to be, for example, some miners being lost in the tunnels – go save them!

That’s story?

I feel like Blizzard uses the term rather liberally.

Jesus lord all mighty.

If the term “casual” was defined by WHAT you play, then these statements would be impossible:

  • Casual M+ player
  • Casual Delve player
  • Casual PvPer
  • Casual Achievement hunter

You can be a casual in ANY game mode.

So tell me then. WHAT defines casual. WHAT you play or for how long you play it ?

In other words, if the statement: Casual M+ player was defined by WHAT you play (M+ in this case), there would be no such thing as a Casual Delver.

Its not hard to understand dude…

I say it again and again, the term casual is defined by playtime. NOT by type of content.

OK I will re-do my statement:

Better ? STILL changes nothing. For the 11th time.

Delves were made for people with out time to commit. And those people have a name: Casuals.

They might do but it doesn’t change there are 3 variants of each atm and getting more…

Right. So it’s more like Delve layouts rather than stories.

Presumably…

But maybe they are just adding new stories, i.e. objectives, whilst leaving the layouts as they are.

Right now players are making a dangerous assumption by equating stories with layouts, when in fact stories are more equal to objectives.

But we’ll see.

Of course we’ll get new Delves, Blizz doesn’t miss any opportunity to say how happy they are with how Delves are working out, the 11.1 zone will get us new Delves, add those things up, and it’s blatantly obvious that with the new zone we’ll be getting in 11.2, we’ll get a few new Delves, as well.

Anything that changes it up more is welcome.

Lord all mighty Uda… You claimed Blizzard had written Delves were made for “casual players”

You then claimed casual is defined by hours PLAYED IN GAME and not WHAT YOU PLAY in the game…

Therefor it doesn’t make sense to now start talking about “A hardcore achievement hunter that is a casual Delve player”… Unless you are moving your goal post because you realize that HOURS PLAYED DOES NOT EQUAL PROGRESSION…

Therefor, it makes NO sense to start on the whole categorization… Because it has NOTHING to do with the definition of casual / hardcore (Accoring to you)… Therefor Delves were not made for casual players.

Noope… Let me help you… because it is laughable at this point:

Hope it helps

At this point it is clear as day, that your opinion about Delves shines more than your logic. Calling things “literally” and “facts” when you then misquote and misinform them.

I just wanted to correct you, which I have now done. You can call it what you want, doesn’t mean it’s correct. If you’re in doubt, you can read the quotes I quoted from you throughout as to why.

Hours spend in game =/= meaningful progression

i.e. Delves were not made for casual players. And no. Blizzard did not state they were. That’s your interpretation which I have shown (again) doesn’t make sense, unless you move the goal post each time like you did.

Have a nice day Uda! In case you get back:

You’re right, I’m wrong

I don’t know. I feel like it’s a pretty identical experience regardless of the layout having more left turns instead of right turns. Saving miners or killing spiders really doesn’t make a world of a difference either.

In WoW, Casual is a term used whenever someone might lose an argument, because they can dismiss the challenging reply by saying “you’re just a casual lol”, you know you’ve won the argument when the casual comment comes out.

I know people who spend 100 hours a week doing nothing other than collecting, I know people who play a few hours a week and have 2500 rating in mythic+, neither are casual, they are just “players”

really? one you can more or less skip mobs, same instance you have to collect metal shards and I forget the last one in Dread pit.

meh, im okay with it. i wonder though, if D9-11 will now drop better loot or more transmog/mounts/toys

That is the defenition of Casual. And you wrote it. Not me.

But whatever. You won by attrition. Im bored.

Big lol :joy:

That’s definitely true.
Of the X amount of hours I currently spend per week in game, maybe only an hour or so goes towards power progression; because it’s all but stopped - with the exception of the vault coins.

Sure, I could grind delves until my eyes and fingers are bleeding, hoping for a rare Delver’s Bounty, but I still play WoW for fun. So I’m not going to do any such thing.

This obsession with “casual” and “non-casual” play is causing a real detriment to the game, it’s totally pointless (See my point above about what it means when people try and call someone a casual) and hurts the game making it less inviting to new players.

There are so many hurdles to new people joining this game as it is, can we make not make the community yet another one?

The game is too old for new players to jump into imo. Unless its friends or family of already users. I doubt WoW sees many really new players.

There is no ads, TV nothing anymore. A dire movie that skipped alot lol but that’s about it.
