Tons of people paid players to use their accounts and do it. you have been able to buy anything in wow since launch, be it real money or gold. there are no such things as prestige, even the world’s first race is pretty much bought when you see what it costs.

In conclusion, they tripled down on the inconsistency. We can expect items to return in the future, by the way the devs were feeling on that specific day.
Why was the AOTC mount not present during the remix? We didn’t feel like it. Why is it present in the Legion remix? We felt like it.
At least I can feel super prestigious; I earned my feral druid mage tower appearance when I was 12.

Yeah, so for mage tower, it doesn’t make sense in retail because they can’t reproduce the challenge?? The tech is already in the game to normalise stats and make it as hard as they want, it’s just lazy, and frankly they don’t care enough to add it.

It sort of did return as the secret appearance for ret paladin artifact weapon
but it doesn’t have any of the cool effects like critters and argent dawn turning hostile towards you, or the scarlet event.
Also people who defend the removal of the MT mogs, are beginning to sound a lot like Boomers talking about bootstraps.

Sadly, even for the elitists, there’s no real argument Blizzard made sure of that.
Most of this is just ragebait, and it feels like people are starting to forget the whole ‘you think you do, but you don’t’ history. Blizzard is a company; they’re allowed to fail and make mistakes. It’s on us, the customers, to voice our opinions about it. But somehow, even that seems to be a problem for the ‘boomer’ crowd, who’d rather just call us entitled. Not sure where they get that from, since all we’re really asking for is clear decision making on the matter.”

That’s life, they were a one time exclusive thing, it shouldn’t come back. And it’s a good thing it’s not coming back, so that I can transmog them and people know I got them 9 years ago.

I got my Prot mage tower look 
A lot of those appearances are unique and there’s nothing else like them in the game.
That’s why people want them. They’re unique and many of them look cool.
If they were just to add recolors, everything would be fine: People can get the unique weapon models and the originals remain exclusive. Best of both worlds.
There really truly is no good reason for Blizzard not to do that. They’re just being stubborn.

Blizzard could have just made a sparkly cat form in another color and every druid would have been happy.
Yeah, well it’s their loss because sub numbers will probably be down quite dramatically on what they could’ve been had they included the MT

I think the concerning thing about it was when he was discussing the AOTC mount, he genuinely didn’t have an answer, he sorta just said ‘yeah I dunno we didn’t really know why we added the AOTC mount this time, we just felt like it’… which is why I think so many people get so frustrated, they do just seem to pick and choose what’s fomo and what isn’t based on, well, how they felt that day?
