Well. Elitists like you and Wrath-babies like complainers will never agree.
And me, I just want Classic to be exact copy of how it was: Vanilla - Burning Crusade and Wrath. No Cata. Warts, bumps, bugs and all. No more, no less, #NoChanges.
And now you told of ICC patch from elitist viewpoint. Now I do same from casual player:
In BC and Wrath I was member of guild. A nice, casual, talkative guild. We were not many, core maybe 30, and all had other obligations, new parents, grandparents (most), or some even both. We did not really into raids, but we did dungeons. With great trouble. We had to arrange time where nobody babysit, nobody work … WoW was for fun, not to prove us good.
When patch 3.0 hit, I remember Questing became laughably easy. I remember me Paladin in outrigger Cove, Tanaris , killing 8 my level pirates, then needing food & drink 
– I so sad Wrath Classic was build on this!!! – but Dungeons became fun and possible.
Me, two guildies with similar habits, one Gnome Warlock, one Priest.
When we felt like dungeon, once, twice even three times weekly, we made group, put us in RDF, quested till Dungeon popped – always super fast with Tank + Heal 
– TP to dungeon, ran dungeon, took long time, was fun, sometimes wiped, sometimes waited for Healer’s baby … then TP back to questing and chat.
RDF was great tool for us.
In Cata, I lost my joy of play, Guild broke over, split from Elitists and Casuals (old split going all back to BC), no group big enough to carry guild on, game not fun, more like work, and at same time too easy mode linear. I turned to IronMan.
