Grats man!
A (presumably) 1% drop chance on a mount that you only have 7 x your number of characters chances to get every year is in my opinion a completely reasonable thing to complain about.
For someone who only plays one character the chance of getting the mount within the 7 days of the event is about 6% if they try every day. And for a bit of perspective, itās 30% if they do that each year for 5 years in a row, or a 51% chance over 10 years.
So your chances of getting this mount in 10 years with one character are literally as good as a coinflip, and thatās as long as you donāt miss a single day of the event.
The issue is that at this point pretty much every event has a mount like that. Itās getting ridiculous.
And please call me out if my math is wrong.

Blizzard wonāt change if people donāt keep failing for those stupid tactics.
People have been complaining for years about other 1% drop mounts world events yet they still keep playing those events every day with an army of alts.
People have been complaining about the recent events that have been changed with new low dropsā¦yet they do it every day.
People complained about the same thing at the last Hearthstone anniversary eventā¦ yet they repeated the event boss until obtaining everything.
People complained about the long long grind on Plunderstormā¦ yet they play all those long hours to reach rank 40 for something they donāt like.
People complain about FOMO yet when a new limited thing is added they jump to do it before it is being removed. And they do it while complaining about it, but they do it.
Blizzard wonāt change anything if we still keep increasing their metrics by engaging in this content. If too many people play this content then they will see this as a success because their metrics donāt care if the players enjoy what they are doing, it only matters if they do it or not.
The only way we can make them stop using those practices is by not participating in it.

I am doing the share quest method which kinda means i am not participating, but i have no doubt Blizz will hitfix that.

It seems to be unchanged today.
Iām not after the carpet, but Iām actually surprised that they set the drop rate to such a low value. It goes counter to what they said.
Iām just glad itās not a duck mount. Iād actually have wanted that, but thereās no way Iād do this event with multiple characters.

I canāt belive they kept this slow spawn rate over night, blizz making it worse all the time.
Blizz read this and get it through your heads because I canāt imagine Iām the only one:
the moment I knew it was a 1% drop, once a day type of thing I just cba. Iām not even going to bother with the ānewā stuff because of that. When are you going to learn fomo is an absolute scummy method to keep people subbed?
Iām a mount collector. I have a decent collection, not too special but one Iām pretty fond of, and if thereās a new mount I can get in a limited time event Iāll spend my time getting that. But NOT if it has a droprate so low I could potentially spend 500 hours on it and not be rewarded for my time. This RNG reward model is outdated and canāt be defended.
No I donāt want instant gratification, no I donāt want everything handed on a platter. I got to renown 40 for the mounts in plunderstorm. I would have preferred this mount to be buyable as well with 500 eggs or something, on top of the daily chance. Make it a grind, at least getting eggs is somewhat relaxing.
When will they learn??
I actually have 3 carpets that barely use. I was after the mog and now i gained it soā¦ ill go forr chocolates just to add bunny ears and thats it. And if the carpet dropsā¦ hoooray!
But 1% is madness.

Youāll get a bugged spawn at some point. The egg reaches the nest and nothing happens. No boss.
Iām surprised you didnāt see it yesterday, had that on at least three chars.
in truth i saw that just on horde side. alliance is always smooth (by now)
