BC was a great expansion and I have fond memories of it but even back then we realized that it wasn’t perfect. Things like mercenary mode and dungeon finder were things people wanted back then but had to wait multiple expansions for. Lumping them in the battle pets, achievements, collections etc. is disingenuous. We shouldn’t look at TBC Classic as a return to an old expansion, but rather a new expansion that’s open to quality of life changes. Take the good from retail and add it to TBC to create the experience everyone always wanted.
I made my point in an earlier response to your menthal diarrhea. Dungeon finder removes the “building your group” part completly. You simply press a button and get put into a group for some Dungeon. This is completely unacceptable and should not be in the current classic game.
Now, GO BACK TO RETAIL.
/facepalm
Stop asking QOL that definitively deteriorate user experience. Yes you will have “fast” dungeon, but it’s not Woltk dungeon difficulty (easy mode), and half of them will disband fast because party composition or players are not good enough (remember Cata pre-nerf?).
It’s push to see people more like party filler bot than a player, so it deteriorate social aspect too (no discussion here everyone have see the before/after woltk).
Fixed! Personally, i want to play TBC, my prefered expansion by far.
And talking BC, when we get guild bank? Still no there, and that was a BC feature (even if it was added in middle).
What good from retail you want to implement? and if you start to implement all the goodies from retail you could just lock experience at 70 in retail and do all the old school raids?
this is about normal dungeons.
In my experience this is the case for every normal dungeon grp while leveling and always was like that.
Even some normal dungeon can be hard with a poor comp. For example, mecha have some pack very tricky if you don’t have distance dps.
Sad story, but auto LFG will just enforce that.
Thats why I suggested to take lvl70 dungeons out of the LFD not 15 posts ago, but k
And it would be stupid to have them in as you normally only reach them with a flying mount.
and who cares actually? Leveling is just a time sink and grind to get to the point where the social aspect of the game actually matters. Why not making that part a little easier? Because it was like that 15years ago? Great argument.
If they implement it for normal dungeons up to lvl70 dungeons, I couldnt care less. Let ppl have a good time leveling. Why not?
Mb I will level a shamy if they do. I definately wont if they dont.
Because leveling is a part of the journey and experience? otherwise you could just have instant 70 realms or 70 boosts
If you want TBC+, ask for it separately alongside real TBC. Let TBC be TBC for those who spent years asking and waiting for it.
You’re joking right? Let TBC be TBC? It’s not TBC, never has been, and never will be.
TBC+ is just another term for TBCC.
The gameplay is true to TBC, so long as they keep HvH away. Adding an automatic dungeon finder would take that away. The slippery slope people dreaded in Classic turned out to be real.
Original TBC had a lfg/lfd tool so why go back to retail? Because for a change something is demanded that was in the original game back then?
I care, if you see leveling just like a time sink, you just don’t understand the game. You really should find a game that fit your needs, it isn’t TBC Classic.
@Èsto: TBC manual lfg tool was very far of the autoqueue LFD of Woltk (which is the demand in this thread). But yeah it be cool to have actually the feature that BC provide back then (manual LFG tool and guild bank).
If you read the thread, you’d see he’s asking for cross-realm automatic dungeon finder that teleports you to dungeons. Nothing like that was in TBC.
I would’ve supported this if OP was asking for the TBC group finder. But judging from posts like this:
it sounds like OP is rly asking for the X-realm, automated RDF tool we had in WotLK, which simply doesn’t belong to TBC. The lack of accountability that comes from being matched with ppl from other realms (that you almost assuredly won’t see again), coupled with the ease of replacement that comes with the automated teleport (don’t like a DPS because he looked at you funny a moment before? Just kick him and replace him in 30 seconds, done) makes for a very different experience from what people want in TBC.
Even in Normal dungeons, the fact you are heavily penalized for being a PITA to other players (takes time to replace people, and there’s a higher chance people WILL remember you the moment you show up again in a group) makes groups more likely to stick through and try to compose their differences. Sure, there might be some situations where ragequitting IS the only reasonable solution (I’ve been guilty to that sometimes too, like when a resto shaman was trying to keep me up in Ramp HC just with damn LHW, as if his healing kit had nothing else to speak of), in WotLK I’ve seen people getting kicked for the most futile and unjust motives, especially DPSers, simply because they’re THAT much expendable.
This might work in WotLK due to how easy and quick most dungeons are (and even then, it’s annoying when some dungeons like Oculus and CoS are automatically skipped by most ppl just 'cause ppl lack the two braincells required to work through them), but it really doesn’t fit TBC’s slower, more methodic playstyle, somewhat half between Classic and WotLK.
Cross realm BGs are vanilla feature (1.12 but still ) so it definitely was in original TBC. Learn facts before talking nonsense
I dont really understand all you diehard classic conservatives
Ppl leveling in lower levels (like OP) have a really hard time finding a grp/ppl for dungeons.
How will a LFD tool, usable only for normal dungeons without the normal lvl70 dungeons affect the game in a negative way for you?
If you want to not use it, its totally fine, you will not find a grp for stockades now and you will not find one when everyone uses the tool. When you level its just doing quests now and after they implement it for you, no?
So again, how is a LFD for leveling impecting your gameplay in a negative way?
for lower lvl dungeons while lvling you moron have you even tried to form a grp for classic dungeons ? its impossible at this point your just to stupid to understand that part of the game is already not playable because of it. a lot of people are wearing nostalgia goggles and don’t want to admit that game mechanics which exist only to waste your time aren’t nearly as good as you remember them.
Yeah I have, both before and after TBC released as I was only level 47 when TBC released. What’s stupid is your inability to imagine other people’s experiences outside of your own.
In pretty much every one of your replies you’re angry you call someone stupid. Ever considered you’re the problem?
As I said before on the upper topics I agree to make a dungeon finder with insta que but for low dungeon 60 below because above you finde very easy grupe. But but not if you are on low pop sv so then they should make dungeon finder for above the to meet the demand of low pop sv
