I dont understand why they are doing like this, they dont play this game, they dont know this game, they have no idea what to do and what is new? REPEAT all things and it is completetly fail. I dont know what I will believe, because they dont learn from mistake and now they do it again.
New world has a 3 day open beta test in a week or so, I really hope I like the game.
Nerfing dungeons? Bringing back TF? It sounds like you are trying to murder the game.
Donât respond to it anymore. I just found your conversation with that other person and have re-read the same arguments itâs been using to stalk my thread. I believe itâs a genuine psychopath, so donât engage.
Iâve noticed over the years that this type of person stalks multiple threads on the WoW forums and other similar forums. Theyâll have thousands of posts and never seem to actually do the activity that theyâre talking about.
I believe it brings down the whole forum.
On topic, this upcoming patch brings tons of alt-friendliness - thatâs mostly what it is.
Easy covenant swapping and you get to keep cosmetics from other covenants.
Solo queue islands.
Levelling in Torghast.
Maw intro skip.
Transmog linking (full sets).
Remote Anima turn ins.
New customisation options for races.
Potentially sending Anima to alts.
Seems pretty alt friendly to me.
The sad thing is that most of this stuff (along with others that were implemented previously as âQoL Improvementsâ) should have been there from the startâŚ
I have to disagree they are removing the Maw intro questline for alts, plus no more dungeon requirements to get the allied races from BFA, if you did not have them already. Not to mention solo Island expedition queues. All of these things help casuals and not mythic raiders.
As for content, 1.5 patches usually do not have content, usually they are fixes to systems or upgrades to systems. As for gearing for casuals, you have the Korthia gearing system where you can get to level 230s or higher I think once you hit rank 6 with the archivist. Now this needs to be fixed as it is an uncessary long grind but you can pretty much get to level 220 gear easily with the Korthia gearing system.
seems like 0 additional power progression for players .
they will find that in FF14 - which is why they play atm.
all this is usless fluff.
That mostly noone agrees on ![]()
Because of ones like you, WOW lost a lot of players
what will harm you if i get a good gear out of Titan forging
i do not compete with you in your game field Raid,M+ etc
at the end of the day, i pay the same $ to this game
80% of players who left game agree with me not with you ![]()
if they agreed with you they woudl still be playing wow - not FF14
Itâs not a content patch, whatâd you expect? Tell you what, revive/bump/Come back to this thread once 9.2 arrives, THEN we can talk.

Maybe you are not. But there are a lot of examples players wanting to improve their gear, skipping for example normal raid because their ilvl is already too high. Or skipping lower levels M+ since there is no loot to gain.
My biggest problem with TF is that i also get TF items. And it is wrecking my own gear progression. I donât give a damn about other players gear. But it is wrecking my own fun in the game.

thats assuming that there will be 9.2
not blizzard announcing 10.0 soon tm blaming covid and harrasment situation for this
If anything; this patch is completely focussed on the casual. With being able to do all covenants on 1 char. Or all the alt-stuff.

there is literlay nothign there for casuals
do you honestly thing that casuals care about conduits swapping ? just lol .
im pushing atm +19s and hc raids in subpar spec and non optimal covenant and didnt swap a single conduit in months .
and you think casuals do ? again - lol .
There will be, unless the playerbase choose to kill the game where itâs at by having everyone quit. Which would be kinda hypocritical of you.
You say you want content, but youâre advertising for killing the game by having players leave for FF14, ergo there would be no need for a content patch cause thereâs be no players to play said content.
You canât have it both ways dude.
Big 3⌠so amongst other things LFR, normals, HC, skirmish, random BG⌠the big 3 is just as much for casuals as the âelitesââŚ
Definitely not âas muchâ.
But a lot of that depends on what your definition of a âcasualâ is.
And unfortunately that term has many different meanings for many different people.
You insult people left and right and because it comes out of your mouth you think you arenât being an utter douche.
I insult people who insult me. Eye for an eye.
Youâre a horrible troll. Shoo.
Colossal hypocrite.
Yeah he was. Thatâs why I pointed it out.
Good to see you agree.
And donât give me lies about you only respond in kind.
But I do.
Think so otherwise? I challenge you to provide proof.
If you canât or wonât: Shut up.
I pretty sure know tons of altoholics in my guild who do not run your +19 (or +15, or even lower actually. they are not doing M+ at all). But they like to explore everything in the game. They are very happy with the changes. This is an awesome change for them.
Iâm almost done with codex rep and Iâve took a few week break in the middle of doing it. Stop being lazy, itâs not that important to reach rank 6. Especially not as a casual.

I have to disagree with that. For a person who doesnât participate in âthe big 3â, rank 6 is the only way of getting better gear. Also saying âstop being lazyâ when this grind is mostly RNG is a bit silly.
