The art was them in a bed, Siavash actively saying theyre in a relationship at one point.

Let me elaborate - All I saw as far as proof of noncery was the JPEG name, I can’t recall anything particularly suss in their TRP or in the art itself (Given, they have a very cartoony style, so age can always be hard to tell in that situation)
oh don’t get me wrong, its creepy AF still.
Its literally on the level of lusting after loli characters but; “its okay guyssss, she’s 18”

Having seen the art that was tagged as ‘jailbait’, it falls under the same murky lines as ‘loli’ stuff. AKA if it looks like a child, then there’s a problem regardless of whether the character is actually a 700 year old demi-god.

Ok so, I see my thread has been invoked. Thus, I shall give a response.
My overall gripe is that locations were constantly being used for matters almost detached from the surrounding. Whilst Tian Monastery was the go-to venue for many, many, MANY parties, markets, bar nights, parades etc. etc. the breaking point for me was when people chose to hold a fashion show in Mistfall Village, in the middle of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
This fashion show was held in order to raise funds for orphans in Westfall, yet it was held in a zone that was recovering from Mantid, Mogu and Old God invasions? Yu can understand my frustration with matters being detached from their settings.
Like, I won’t deny I am biased towards fostering and nurturing Pandaren RP or at least a community that can compliment the setting. However, what I’ve instead constantly seen is a concerted effort to degrade and bastardise the lore or setting in order to cram in 2nd Life rp that is copied and pasted across Azeroth.

Good examples of not good events to have at the Tian Monastery. We have a ‘love’ festival, which was received POORLY by the Pandaren community as it marched through two places… Because it was not at all pandaren related.
A singing event… Really?
And a play that features a ‘gimp’ transmog and a dominatrix Draenei. I didn’t see this at this location, but I did have the misfortune of seeing it perform in Stormwind.
So, I will admit, it is NOT the ‘suggestive tongue stuff’ that I promoted before, but I am not going to lower my acceptance of the events being hosted there because these are events that really don’t fit the scene.

Go somewhere else for a love festival or anything that isn’t Tian Monastery related. The world is big and there are dozens of more suitable locations than the ‘pretty panda place’.
And I’ll bring up bad RPers all I want, thank you. Be it a terrible child caravan or the Uldumites or PCU or whatever. Bad examples of RP exist everywhere and they deserve calling out.
*edit here. Not all people in these locations are bad RPers. This is mention of the bad apples that we should call out on. Except the caravan one. That is all bad.
Why?
Because we can remove the bad and focus on the good to make appropriate, valid RP.
Here’s an example:
Someone hosted a Westfall Charity event in Mistfall. Bad idea. Not a valid location for it because its a pandaren place that is suffering old god attacks and other invasions.
Better location: Moonbrook. In Westfall.

At that point, all I really have to say is be the change you wanna see. Make something better than what’s on offer currently.
We try but last time we did that, I believe you called everyone in the Pandaren discord toxic.

Because for every event you held, there was four absolute fits about ‘outsiders’ hosting events and a bot promoting them.
And my brother in christ; Ya’ll invited the bot into the Discord.
The bot just adds any event that it can, for ease of the community and promoting any event.
I could host an event now for the first ever Robo-Gnome punting event and it would send it out to any of these discords that has this bot.
And if I were to host it in the Tian Monastery…
Well, no doubt that they wouldn’t like that. Because it wouldn’t fit the area and the setting.
