When Thrall left in Cataclysm he thrust the power upon Garrosh, and Garrosh even warned him about doing so.
As we see in Stonetalon, Garrosh held honor high. He was a true orc. He was blamed for the actions of others. He was blamed for the crimes of the Twilight Hammer.
As Garrosh is an orc, when Cairne challenged him to mak’gora he naturally accepted thinking that Cairne simply didnt like him. Before the duel his weapons were poisoned by Magatha Grimtotem leading to Cairnes death. The other races betrayed him and turned on him, hence he had no reason to trust anyone other than the orcs.
Moving on to Theramore. The Horde and the Alliance was at war. Theramore was an Alliance stronghold in Garrosh’s front yard (literally had tanks btw), he had no reason to let it remain and he even let all civilianss escape before dropping the bomb. He did anything to protect the Horde. He saw the Heart of Y’Shaarj as the only way to become powerful enough to wipe out the Alliance and unite the world under the Horde.
TL;DR: Garrosh was a good warchief that led and protected the Horde like a true orc would. He had no reason to trust the other races and did anything to protect the Horde.
I dont see this post as bait (I’m not sure ehat the definition is) but I am trying to start a legitimate discussion.
So, opinions?

Until the writers decided to make him full villain and made him try to assassinate Vol’Jin as well as turning against non orcs…

He was the perfect or warchief, but he was a racist what caused that Vol’jins rebellion had success, so no.

He was the perfect Warchief for a never ending faction war setting…
But Blizz decides to go back and forth is better.
Back and forth back and forth back and forth…
Pick a direction and stick with it I’d say…

This is worth a listen for all us Garrosh fans!
Doubt is for the weak! Fight your fears! Conquer your hatred!

Orcnazism aside, the fact he wanted to perma kill Sylvanas gets mega bonus points from me.

Everyone had a place in his horde, until they betrayed him.
“Garrosh Hellscream says: You’ve made a wise decision to join my Horde.
Garrosh Hellscream says: There are some that would call us barbarians… the “mongrel races” of Azeroth.
Garrosh Hellscream says: They are ignorant, and blind to reality. Look around you, pandaren.
Garrosh halts in front of Sauranok the Mystic.
Garrosh Hellscream says: You will find no better partner in battle than an orc.
Garrosh walks over to Gotura Fourwinds.
Garrosh Hellscream says: The tauren have made themselves useful. Look - this one is a shaman.
Garrosh Hellscream says: Even a blood elf can hold a sword.
Garrosh Hellscream says: Do you see it? Everyone in my Horde earns their keep. You and your friends will be no exception!”

Miles better than Sylvanas, also generally much better as a character.

Warcraft isnt meant to supernatural. Imo, up until SoO MoP was the PERFECT war expansion. Its what BFA should have been. BFA is kiddies play compared to the Jade Forest.

Same here
The “MoP Tribute” video also has some really good lines.
Not sure I understand what you mean?
Supernatural? Meaning what? Because in the traditional meaning of the word, WoW is packed full of those things. Like magic, ghosts, gods, living elements etc.

I hope they bring him back in Shadowlands. Let him return with us the living and give him the Warchief mantle.
Since Blizzard kill him, they could not write a capable Warchief.

He did fit title “Warchief” very well until SJW went berserk due racism and they made him very stupid and greedy in MoP.
Arrogant, yes. But leader of tribalistic barbarians can’t be diplomat.
I liked him in cataclysm leveling zones but MoP portrayed him just very racist as$hole “who was corrupted by sha”… It was very confusing.

It was just the bad writing of MOP.
MOP was the worst expansion ever.

I firmly believe that this can only come from someone who has never actually played MoP and only built an opinion around stuff they picked up on the internet.
Mist of Pandaria was one of the greatest expansion this game has ever had.

You are not correct. I played.

Nope.
Only good thing in mop was raids. And waterwalking mount they have now disabled.
Everything else was lower than trash.
Theme was awful and it introduced cancer race. Writing was bad and music mostly was pain in ears. There were couple good spots with music but not enough to save it.
Dailies were about helping fat and lazy or cooking more food to those fatsoes. Heroics were joke,
Pvp was fine. Not great but not as bad as it is now.

How was MoP bad then if we exclude the storywriting?
As in Shadowlands. Am excited cuz I can meet Garrosh again tho.
