Right at this moment the WoW client crashed idling.
Interestingly no system hang (spotify had no stuttering at all)

I have this issue since Wednesday’s update too. Game runs at 11GB ram for 20m-1h, then it suddenly shoots to 28GB and crashes. I didn’t notice this in the morning right after the update when I played for 1~h, but after work that same day and since then I’ve had this issue.

I’ve tried changing all graphic settings, reinstalling with no modifications/addons, turning off battlenet after starting, launching the game directly without battlenet, changing locations, changing what I’m doing…

Thanks God, I was thinking that my pc had again some RAM problem. I had to disable XMP profile, and my ram work good at 3200 hz instead of 3600. Now I was crashing again due to memory problem, and I was ready to scream at my pc.
But he is innocent, so, I am happy. Btw how can be possible that they are breaking things so much? lol

Try reinstalling the game, first off make a copy of WTF, Interface, Fonts (if you have any custom), Screenshots (just in case) then click cogwheel in bnet (on the right to play button) and uninstall, then install again

I recently used the command “/console set ResampleAlwaysSharpen 1” and then the memory issue started regularly happening to me after 30mins to 1hour play sessions.
Ever since i turned it off again with “/console set ResampleAlwaysSharpen 0” the memory error hasn’t occured again.

Perhaps a paging file will help if you install it at the system’s discretion on your hard drive with a large amount of free memory. If you are not lazy, test it, I don’t have time for this.
