Not getting accepted into M+

So, im the guy who doesent really bother grinding for the “Mythic+ Score”, on Rio nor ingame.
My best Score that i did was in S2 and it was like 1920rio, now i just do some casual m+, cleared few +15 and there are some dungeons that i didnt even do this season, which left me with 1248rio.

So, i dont get accepted into mythic+ anymore, i tried every single m+ level, i EVEN get declined at m0 ??

Lets make something clear here, i cant remember the last time where i was in a m+ group and i did anything less than top damage, i dont die to mechanics and i dont do stupid mistakes, im a veteran player, but this “imaginary score” you have going on here, is just making me vomit.

I was fine with people judging me by item level, now we got Rio, whats next?

My Skin color? My Eye Color? My height, weight, Nationality, Religion…?

This “Score” is not an accurate representation of my skill and its insulting, i dont have 24/7 to grind m+ and ill say this quite frankly that the score doesent represent my knowledge of the dungeons, because lets be real, at this point even a blind person knows the layout of every single dungeon in the game (make of that what you will).

Now im wasting my time here for the last 2 hours trying to find a dungeon and getting declined by m0´s…

“oh dduuuhhh, you can make your own dungeons and invite people” yes and no, i dont have the key for that specific dungeon i want to do so no.

Just make your own keys, this way you can take / kick anyone to create your own party.
Sometimes the easiest solutions are the best.

Score is just a reflection of someone’s experience. It gives the key holder some idea of what the person has done. Key holders absolutely have the right to choose a team however there see fit.

You mentioned m0, you can make your own groups for any of those. No key required. It would also give you a random m plus key on completion.

Lots of people find listing their low keys as bonus Valor runs help. You can also ask your friends or guildies to help you out.

try that as an BM hunter, wont happen, i have tried to make my own groups, and almost always someone leaves becuse omg BM, and then the rest follows, and it happens a lot, can say I pretty much stopped doing M+ due to it, and this is not only for BM hunters, but for anyone who do not play the fotm of the week or have over 2k rio going for a low level dungeon, and yes I have seen people been kicked from M0 becuse wrong spec, including my self.

Would you say that somebody who is playing since 2009, did every single raid and dungeon there is mutliple times, even was Hardcore for few expansions, was a raid leader for my guild for few years, but you know, rl kicks in, wife, child etc, and i still find some time to play.

Just my Rio is low, would you say that 1200 is an accurate representation of my skill?

I dont say im the best player ever (not even close), but im certainly also not somebody who dies every pull.

Rio is a score which tells somebody else how fast your “Group” did the dungeon, that doesent really tell you anything about your personal score.

No. It is only a calculation of your highest dungeons done (on both fort and tyrannical).

The problem is, you are competing with 50 other dps players for the same spot in a group.

Nope, i didnt solo the dungeon, i did it with a group.

If i have a group of people who is going to blast the dungeon within minutes, ill get a higher score for it regarless of my impact, i can do 20k dps, or 2k dps my Rio score wont change.

Yes you can get boosted. Nobody is denying that. That also applies for the other 50 other dps players trying to get that very same spot in the group.

yes i get that, but being denied for 2 hours? - Seems kinda unreasonable (and spare me “You can make your own dungeon” thats not what this is about)

At least it is a score of dungeons you have been in. Not sure what your point is.

This is not about the amount of time of course. There are just so many people your are competing with for the same spot. And one of those reasons is; people do not want to make their own group, so there are not that many spots available.

Its simple, im getting judged by a score which is not an accurate representation of my skill as a player (whichever that skill may be)

So you would than say that somebody who got boosted all +15, would be a better skilled player than somebody who did all +10 by himself and his friends?

It is about chances. Nobody knows you or anyone is boosted or not. You are still competing with 50 others completely unknown for group-starter for the same spot in that group. Literally nobody knows your skill or the skill of the others. You do not get judged, you simply did not get picked.
