Not getting accepted into M+

I don’t play FOTM and all DPS have a lot of competition when applying to groups. Hunters have a good toolkit, even as BM. You may not be wanted in high keys but it’s fine for weekly keys.

At times it can be a pain getting into keys.

We are kinda missing the point that im trying to make, im not denying that as a dps you have a lot of competition.

What im trying to say that i find that the score is inaccurate.

Would i increase my score if i spammed dungeons 24/7? - Ofc i would.
Would i improve as a player doing all +15 for the 4th time all over again? - no i would not, because i have already done that few times.
Would i improve as a player doing all +20? - Yes i would, but good luck getting inside those dungeons with your sorry-axx rio

In keys 10-15, people will be extra-cautious with who they invite, because losing a key in that range is really punishing and annoying, since you want your vault to drop 278 ilvl pieces.
It’s a market, and maybe a good solution would be to simply host your own keys, until you get a good score. Specs like Feral druids/Affliction Warlocks won’t even find a group for +15 after they grind to 2.5k io score.

For people who did got to 20’s everyone had to slowly go up and down on their keylevel. It is a big time investement since 20’s are not comparable with 15’s. To me it looks often a lot like people want to jump instant a lot of keylevels.

honestly mate. I know this is an obvious answer, but just run your own key.

I have started doing it all the time.

I list my key, and wait for a pre-made of higher ilvl and rating players to come along for their weekly chest. It works every time.

Blizz have made Boosts free.

have you tried the most obvious aka using your own keystone and making group yourself ?

i bet you didnt

there is 0 difference between doing 15s at 250 itlv and 20s and 278. and you know it perfeckly . and thats the itlv people were doing 15s on first week of patch

Strange. With an alt i got 1240 doing only the Tyranical week which is the one i started the M+.I haven’t touched the Fortified so it will go double and hit the 2k.

For me thats is what matters.Do you have the 2 legendaries and worked to have your Tier sets?

Kids do that and you should not bother. There are plenty other players who do not care about that.BUT it is very easy to increase your Rating in Season 3 .

Last,it is ok to be declined some times. It happens to all of us.

What I can say about myself: I started shadowlands like end of april, and skipped all previous seasons and I got to 276 ilvl, just because I immediately realized, that it’s faster to run my own keys than trying to find a group. All that by playing casually 3-4 hours per week.
Edit: It’s not intended as a flex, but it’s just very simple logics (supply/demand).

Ofc i did, and i noticed the problem (remember, im playing this game from 2009).

I too look for people who are the highest rio score, im not a saint, but lately, i found that people who are lower rio (not all ofc) sometimes performed better than higher rio players, which may or may not have something to do with boosting being a “thing”.

So if its so popular to having people getting boosted all of the times, and they are waving their Rio score like they just dont care, why are we trusting a score which is majorly influenced by other people in the group? - That is not your personal score.

Only 1 shots. Or almost 1 shots that overlap with other things.

Yes i have, and for the matter of fact im also a lower ilvl player, but somehow i mostly end up doing higher damage then higher rio/ilvl players.
We can argue about “oh well you are a warlock” and as a warlock main before it was cool, i played a warlock even before it was cool

as someone who mains a BMhunter and just started survival hunter alt - i feel sorry for every bm im doing dungeon with

for example i +2 gambit 16 this week on survival . poor bm hunter who was in group did just 1k overall dps more then me even though he was almost 30 itlv higher geared. he didnt took over lead on dps untill 2nd boss fight .

i felt sorry for him because i know how he must have felt (he was almost 278 and close to 3k score) - seeing this cocky 258 surv with 1k score bragging in /w about how big dps he wil ldo so he can get accepted into group and then him being completly decimated for first 10 minutes of dungeon :stuck_out_tongue: we would have +3 it easily if tank didnt die twice because we were carried by another op class in group - WW monk that with ease did 20k overall dps .

i know how he felt because thats how i feel when playing my BM hunter.

its just not fun playing spec that is miles behind just because wow devs cannot do their job properly. its not ok if you have 25-50 % difference in overall dps just because people at blizz do not tune stuff correcly

Alright. I play since end of 2019, so why do you still not get, that it’s faster to host your own keys as a dps, than trying to compete with others, but I realized this immediately?:rofl::rofl:

You are missing the point mate… i get that ive said that before, and its not a problem making your own key, the problem is if i dont have the key for a certain dungeons that i need and need to que up, and after that im getting judged by a score that its not an accurate representation of my skill.

It is a way to go though.

Here is an example of by what should you be judged as a player. - Mage Tower

So find people to play with instead of pugging.

But the only people who would spam ‘24/7’ are those that enjoy M+ as their main focus.

I’ve only ever bothered with weeklies for the vault. My score doesn’t really move at this stage.

You are playing a DPS
it’s not PERSONAL bro there are just people that have more SCORE or more ILVL then you
and on top of that there is many people doing what you doing queing for KEYS so don’t be surprised if you are not picked
