I’m lacking the will to do anything after logging in. BFA doesn’t feel fun, any of it. Even my favorite feature, the allied races…are basicly just leveling in the older zones. I’m not even sure i’ll come back in 8.1. So far nothing too impressively interesting seems to appear in it aside from blood elf heritage armor.
Also, angry nelf, i don’t like classic and i never will. Played it back in the day, not keen on returning, no interest. Likewise, you once again miss the point. you say epics drop left right and center right? Those 370 pants i have, i got 355 pants from uldir, got 360 pants from the mythic+ cache, i got 330 pants from pvp. See what i mean? All the gear of the world can drop, but RNG ruins it anyway.
You truely don’t even read what is being written :\
This is RNG and has happened throughout ALL of WoW’s history. Granted, it seems worse now then it’s been before, but that’s because of titanforging, Azerite traits and other things to factor into the RNG.
Are you expecting there to be no RNG at all, and when you go for a piece you want, you get it? I know it’s annoying to get the same things constantly (I’ve had nothing but backs for weeks), but, you’ll get that gear you’re after eventually.
Not to mention, you haven’t really done much content on your rogue to have the full “advantage” of RNG. You’ve done the some of the bosses once in Normal and 2 bosses once in Heroic, you can’t expect to instantly get the loot you want. People spend MONTHS farming the same bosses over and over just for that slight chance of loot, like they did in Legion, like they have done since WoW came out.
From what content you’ve done, getting to your ilvl is brilliant (And this is not a dig, in any way). But, if you expect to get higher ilvl gear, then you need to grind for it.
I’ve spent a month so far running Tol’Dagor on my rogue, from Mythic difficulty to doing +2’s +3’s and +4’s JUST for the daggers off of one boss, and I still haven’t had any drop for me just yet. I’ve killed the boss 20+ times and gotten nothing. So, if you thinking killing a boss 1-2 times and not getting nothing is bad, you really don’t know xD.
Edit: I’ll also include the fact I’m running LFR and have downed mother 4 times on that, and once on Normal for the daggers off of her (Or the ring) and got neither as well lol
Nah i’m a dps, unless you overgear the place you can’t pug it. and guilds won’t help either since they’re unlikely to take you with them.
And i’m fed up with grinding stale content for Months. I just can’t do it anymore. The crushing disappointment from getting garbage loot after garbage loot…if any loot at all… is just an incredible demotivator. I don’t feel that gearing up is rewarding in BFA at all.
Add to that the sabotage of gameplay that is azerite…azerite feels like the worst and stalest grind i’ve ever experienced. And as a lot of other people expressed their disatisfaction with it combined with the devs’ lack of interaction or willingness to improve it…makes me have little hope for the future there.
if you complain aboout gear, i’ll take your gear into consideration when judging the validity of your points.
there’s nothing elitist in AP, it literally comes passively from all the content ingame, if your heart lvl is 23 it simply means you are not playing the game and yet you have a high ilvl, that clashes with you complaining about gear.
Blizzard wants you to work for it, in this rng bad system. So, you have to work for the game rewards and pay money to blizzard at the same time…
Talk about wasting your time and money but its blizzard way. Hence, the mobile market which peaks their interest
Here’s the thing, you mention “not playing the game” and that’s exactly the issue of the whole thing, there is no reason to play. If you’re grinsing AP and enjoying it, power to you. I think it’s the worst design of a wow system i can think of.
if your guildies dont take you in HC uldir, Doubt you should be in that type of guild.
try finding a new guild that values you and lets you do stuff with them.
of course you’d need to contribute to it and have a decent ilvl yourself.
This is the problem. There’s barely any guilds that need people on AD. I daresay it’s impossible to find one hordeside.
I’ve practicly given up at this point. Maybe 8.2 will be fun, even if it’s Ages away. Everything aside from ‘allied’ races has kind of disappointed me with BFA. To each their own i’d say…i’m fed up with the extreme randomness, the stupid garbage azerite and the stale, boring and unfun necklace stuff.
In fact, i’ve already replaced the heart of azeroth with a better necklace.
Your ‘better’ necklace is only higher in ilvl than your heart. It is actually worse.
Not sure why any guild would take a 350 ilvl who does not care about his character at all into the heroic raid. You are asking for a boost.
When it is about raiding, maybe check the discord-communities. There is for example euroRaid and FailTrain (who got curves 2 weeks ago). But there are character requirements.
Haven’t you heard though? Ilvl is Everything. And it’ll take years for me to catch up with azerite…and with the horrific slow ‘champions of azeroth’ rep grind that’s mandatory…oh dear…
I just don’t think endlessly grinding magni’s insane world quest antics for a sliver of rep is fun. And i want the fun of raiding but not the insanity of writing application forms for guilds. Also, i’m on either faction on AD.
Raiding was always meant for guilds since anything above LFR requires certain amount of teamwork
Upping your ilvl above 350 unless you’re getting carried through mythic uldir won’t be +5 everytime you get new item
AP scales as xpac goes on so getting some decent level on it should be easy enough (you can also get contract to slightly speed things along)
I found the guild i’m in now in about 10 min searching through recruitment forums (ofc if you write apps for guilds that are clearly above your skill level or don’t match your raiding schedule it can be excruciating)
From how you react all i hear is omg carry me i no wanna put 2h into the game. Instead of hanging on the forums search or make a +2 mythic and use bonus rolls on it.
EDIT: Ohh and from the way you act you’re more of a casual player and casual guilds take any1 short of a troll into their ranks and most of those guilds clear normal uldir every week.
This character got 120 maybe a month ago. Did no WQ’s outside from champions emmisaries and world bosses (and maybe some that rewarded gear upgrades). There is a catch up system for azerite for your heart. I only do dungeons and have a 5 lvl higher heart than you. I play the game and do not care at all about the grinds you talk about.
I guess i’m just gonna have to take a break. Clearly there are people that really enjoy what bfa is. I don’t, i have clearly indicated that i think the current gearing up methods suck and i don’t like how it is structured.
So yeah, more power to those who enjoy it. I personally think this is the worst and most boring expansion yet. But as they say, to each their own.
well my neck is 382 ilvl and I never farm azerite. it levels by itself. there’s also a catch up mechanic which means you’ll never fall too behind.
and reputation farm is even easier takes 20 minute each day, and this week had 50% rep. bonus + 10% from anniversary thing.
you gotta put an effort if you want to get “x”. applies to everything in life
How much time do you spend playing though? And can you bring up enough motivation to do stuff anymore? Cause i can’t, i’m incredibly bored with wow in it’s current state and there’s nothing to do in it.
For me, there is nothing to do in wow. Pvp is a miserable experience, i’m not enjoying raiding for many unlucky experiences, pet battles don’t and have never interested me, and i already have the transmogs/mounts i want.
I think i’m just Done with blizzard games for the time being.
well depends really. I work, study, Im pretty outgoing and got multiple hobbies. but when I have free time I play games since its one of my favorite things in life.
I dont even do that much, Im the opposite, got pretty much nothing left to do BfA wise so Im doing old content a lot.
yeah it’s been for years now sadly. I quit after wotlk because of how they butchered PvP.
if you dont enjoy the game its for the best you quit or take a break and come back once new stuff is out. I do feel like azerite necklace is here to stay till the end of BfA tho.
This is exactly what happened when blizzard implement too many ways of getting loot… players start feeling entitled to everything, loot, gold, boosts ect…
Go back 6 years and see how the loot table was back then as you’d probably not be playing now if this is how you feel with not getting loot now.
